  1. I had Prodive suspension on mine, nice handling but if i'm honest I prefer the standard WRX suspension but the roads around me are terrible :( . The council doesn't care about country lanes really lol. This is by far the most fun car i've owned, past couple of days I've had thumbs up and nice comments by all ages! Never been happier :)
  2. That is crazily low! Looks great :D. How is the ride quality? Is it still comfy or has it gone really firm?
  3. Breaking a womans tools is not advisable :P
  4. You have done a very good job on these, I like them! :D
  5. The mystery of the none lighting up fog switch will be solved soon then :D
  6. Yeah no problem, It was getting lots of wind noise with it's waterproof case on so bought a vented back. It's better now but not perfect, I already have a video up... Was testing sound quality and if you could hear the dump valve :)
  7. Haha you got the description just right about that :D You think he would learn how to control the car if he keeps crashing it... how many mistakes do you need? lol. Today I have been testing out my GoPro again, nothing interesting happened on the drive to work, will see about the drive home :)
  8. I think he means the symbol for the light (that is on the switch) not the light that indicates it's on. Only pic I could find but there we go lol
  9. Lots of very nice cars there! :D
  10. I've only pushed mine properly a couple of times but when you do it's something else! Considering I upgraded from a Fiesta... :P Just a casual drive to work today so far, the suspension is miles better now, so much comfier! The ProDrive kit is nice looking and all but way too firm for the roads around me :(
  11. I just noticed this on mine tonight and can't remember if it did before or not lol
  12. Sorry to hear it, I see quite a few bad drivers around these days and I'm very scared of leaving the Subaru parked in a busy car park :(
  13. Just need to watch kerbs a little more closely now seeing as my front end is a little lower and sticks out further :D
  14. Thanks, yeah its a lot easier having someone in the family that owns a garage. I try and help most of the time but if its too complicated i leave it to him. I'm loving the front splitter, finishes it off nicely i think.
  15. Did a quick search on Ebay and found these: HERE Looking at that they are one piece unless the end strips do come off
  16. I suppose one of the best places to go is a breakers yard or something. There may be some online as well but like with most subaru stuff it takes some finding :)
  17. Gaulson replied to Gambit's topic in Car Shows
BOOM! This should be good :D . Like i said on the other thread, I am in!
  18. Well this is a thread about my Subaru, never done one of these before so sorry in advance if it's a little boring ;) Yesterday the donated suspension arrived from Tom along with the front splitter. So I decided it's time to get a couple of things done on the car, after work I dropped it in the garage and set to work having a play. Here is a couple of pictures before. The first thing was to get the spoiler off and take a look to see if the snapped bolt is serious or not. Must say it doesn't look that nice without the spoiler on! After taking it off you can see where it was sat due to all the Sahara dust and stuff that has been getting trapped under it! Before After - Tcut and touched up the parts where it had rubbed down to metal so it stays protected Back to the spoiler turns out the bolt is easy to take out and replace :) Before After, nice new thread to screw the nut onto That will be put back on once everything else is done, next thing is to sort out the rear light as at the moment I could keep a goldfish in there lol. So took the light out and found where the water was getting in. Much better now, the after pic will be on later. Now onto the suspension, the top mounts didn't match so just had to mix and match the best bits from what I had left. Now I have some decent rear suspension to put on, happy days! New ride height While that was being done I got on with fitting the front splitter, nice and easy job as all the holes are already in the bumper :) , not often jobs are that easy on cars lol. So now the car is nicer to ride in and looks a bit better, all that's left is to polish up the black side skirts as they are looking fairly tired. Will do that tomorrow when the weather is better. This is the car now... Big thank you to my brother in law who owns Varley Motors, he always helps me out with anything car related :D
  19. Sounds like you have all been having a pretty wicked time yesterday! I was stuck in work then when I got back the car went straight in the garage for some tinkering.... Toms suspension donation had arrived and some other stuff needed to be done. So Will set up a little project thread :)
  20. Nice trip out then Dog? I got off work early, nice weather so washed the subaru. Now it's clean inside and out! Ready for a small project weekend hopefully :)
  21. Yeah some black wheels would fit in nicely... orrrr go for white ;)
  22. You will have to get your car a nickname for any racers around you to fear ;) . Mine is getting known as the "Blue Worm" due to the reg haha.
  23. That car is sat veryyyy nicely! Does it handle well now? Okay I will PM you now
  24. All I know is that it's got prodrive stuff: - ECU - Y Pipe - Exhaust - Quickshift - Spoiler - Suspension That's all the mods I think
  25. Maybe one day I will convert but for now windows phones match me well due to xbox and all that. don't forget to pronounce it properly "Ull" or you will be an "outsider" ;)
