  1. Nice video Dog, I'm quite suprised at how well a big vehicle like that handles
  2. As they say, better out than in ;) Also forgot to mention, noticed the Bailey BOV is looking really dirty inside so will be taking that off to check it over and give it a good clean
  3. Looks like a good project this, liking what you have done with the inlet. I've been thinking about stripping mine down and giving it a really good polish :)
  4. Thanks savage, yeah it's a massive help having access to a garage that has ramps and all the tools needed :) . I've been thinking of getting a dyno run done as I would love to know what it's currently at. I have been following your build, looks great and it seems you have something I don't have much of... knowledge ;) haha. I know a fair bit but i wouldn't feel confident enough to do stuff myself.
  5. Yeah that has got to be it Gambit, I was under powered which gave him the advantage ;) . It had plugs in 5k miles ago, suppose one could be failing. How would leads? Also is there anything else that might be causing it?
  6. Just done an oil change, very little filings on the magnetic sump plug :) While at the garage I mentioned about it lagging on take off, after some exploration we noticed it has some sort of electrical misfire. As it's late I will hand the car over at the weekend maybe to get it sorted. Does explain a lot though.
  7. Some BMW overtook me on the way home today, wasn't impressed . So took him straight back and slowed back down... he then sat miles behind me B) . Oil change tonight, then perhaps next week get a boost gauge fitted
  8. Getting jealous of this car :P . I like the horns, really stand out!
  9. My mpg on the way home wasn't that good as I had a race with a Honda Prelude from my village... he's faster! Didn't realise it was that quick, I was going all out on the straight and it was getting closer and closer lol. He flashed his hazzards and gave me a thumbs up when he turned off :) . Will ask him what he's running when I see him around
  10. Not sure if mine is running well then, unless its my roads but I get about 270 to a tank... that's with fuel light just coming on. So might be 20 miles left in it I guess
  11. I didn't realise the Prosport gauge has a start up, just had a look on youtube at them and they are great. It's the little things in life ay ;)
  12. Had a quick browse on Ebay and found said boost gauge and a pod... Boost Gauge - £46 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Prosport-52mm-Super-Green-White-Turbo-Boost-Gauge-BAR-Stepper-Motor-Version-/371049935371?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item56644cb20b Pod - £33 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Impreza-52mm-Single-A-pillar-pod-New-Age-Impreza-/161054018204?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item257f914a9c So yeah it's cheaper to do it via ebay :)
  13. Now I've been looking around in my free time admiring turbos, fuel pumps and so on... thinking "If i just save this much I can do that..." while doing this I noticed this: http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=68&products_id=1403 I have been wanting a Boost Gauge so thought this was pretty good, any ideas?
  14. Sony seem to be going downhill with most things these days... they released the ps4 and it barely has any "exclusive" games compared to Microsoft. Also I have a Nokia Lumia 1020 and it runs smooth as anything :)
  15. Me and my brother have been keeping our eye open for an "unfinished" one on ebay for months now, in the hope one will show up for good money and we can build it :) . So Scottishtaffy, where abouts is that road you drove? Looks great!
  16. That vid of the Caterham is brilliatnt! lol. Think I would react the same in that :P
  17. Yeah thumb throttle is a bit weird at first but not too bad when you are used to it :) . I'm lucky, the only "Gangster" people round me drive slow **** cars. Best one is a VW Lupo that has been lowed!!
  18. Quads are great fun, my cousin used to have one. Noticed this morning it's been 5k miles since an oil change so I've ordered the oil and a filter ready :) . Probably get it done one night this week
  19. My brother in law wants me to get an off road bike to have a play around on... who knows, in the near future I may give in :) . Hopefully without hospital visits though!
  20. I've not spent enough time on motorbikes to know what they can do in corners, although a lot of stories I've heard make them sound like a lot of fun ;)
  21. Party was awesome, hog roast was amazing!!! First one I've ever had haha. Everyone loved the car as well which was nice. Just been out on my dads Harley, hell of a bike! Noisier than the Subaru and scarier at higher speeds ;) think I prefer 4 wheels
  22. Going to a party at my Boss's place, loads of her family and stuff will be there and apparently there is special parking for the Subaru so should be interesting lol. Hopefully it's the show car of the evening ;) . Tomorrow I will be going on on my dads Harley, different experience to the Subaru but should be good :)
  23. That is probably the best car i've seen in a long time! :D
  24. You on about the filter I sent you? Do you like it? Yeah I love that Audi, incredible machine really. Still.... it's not a Subaru ;) . I'm looking at boost guages and I'm overwhelmed by choices, so looks like today a lot of research is going to happen :P
