BOOM! This should be good :D . Like i said on the other thread, I am in!
  2. Well this is a thread about my Subaru, never done one of these before so sorry in advance if it's a little boring ;) Yesterday the donated suspension arrived from Tom along with the front splitter. So I decided it's time to get a couple of things done on the car, after work I dropped it in the garage and set to work having a play. Here is a couple of pictures before. The first thing was to get the spoiler off and take a look to see if the snapped bolt is serious or not. Must say it doesn't look that nice without the spoiler on! After taking it off you can see where it was sat due to all the Sahara dust and stuff that has been getting trapped under it! Before After - Tcut and touched up the parts where it had rubbed down to metal so it stays protected Back to the spoiler turns out the bolt is easy to take out and replace :) Before After, nice new thread to screw the nut onto That will be put back on once everything else is done, next thing is to sort out the rear light as at the moment I could keep a goldfish in there lol. So took the light out and found where the water was getting in. Much better now, the after pic will be on later. Now onto the suspension, the top mounts didn't match so just had to mix and match the best bits from what I had left. Now I have some decent rear suspension to put on, happy days! New ride height While that was being done I got on with fitting the front splitter, nice and easy job as all the holes are already in the bumper :) , not often jobs are that easy on cars lol. So now the car is nicer to ride in and looks a bit better, all that's left is to polish up the black side skirts as they are looking fairly tired. Will do that tomorrow when the weather is better. This is the car now... Big thank you to my brother in law who owns Varley Motors, he always helps me out with anything car related :D
  3. Sounds like you have all been having a pretty wicked time yesterday! I was stuck in work then when I got back the car went straight in the garage for some tinkering.... Toms suspension donation had arrived and some other stuff needed to be done. So Will set up a little project thread :)
  4. Nice trip out then Dog? I got off work early, nice weather so washed the subaru. Now it's clean inside and out! Ready for a small project weekend hopefully :)
  5. Yeah some black wheels would fit in nicely... orrrr go for white ;)
  6. You will have to get your car a nickname for any racers around you to fear ;) . Mine is getting known as the "Blue Worm" due to the reg haha.
  7. That car is sat veryyyy nicely! Does it handle well now? Okay I will PM you now
  8. All I know is that it's got prodrive stuff: - ECU - Y Pipe - Exhaust - Quickshift - Spoiler - Suspension That's all the mods I think
  9. Maybe one day I will convert but for now windows phones match me well due to xbox and all that. don't forget to pronounce it properly "Ull" or you will be an "outsider" ;)
  10. Hmm well I think I will leave it for now then, see if it's worth doing later down the line. Thank you for the help
  11. I've stayed away from the Iphone, got the Nokia Lumia 1020 :) Cleaned the inside of my car today, will wash it properly on saturday
  12. So supporting mods would be injectors and pump I presume? :)
  13. A phone without a camera? Didn't know that was even possible anymore ;)
  14. Yeah getting comments like that sure would brighten up your day :) . My spoiler had a slight rattle so decided to give it a tighten up... turned the nut less than a 1/4 turn and SNAP :( so now I am feeling very sorry for myself and have no idea how to sort it
  15. Yeah count me in, be even better if we have a stand!
  16. Not at a constant 3.0 bar then? :P
  17. Okay that has cleared things up quite a bit, well a faster spooling turbo would be good as I haven't really been thinking "I need more power" at least not yet.
  18. Yeah I will go, how do I sign up?
  19. Got overtaken by a young lad in a focus this morning.... to be fair I was doing 30mph as it was the speed limit. Different story once we were out of the village ;)
  20. Now I know people have talked about upgrading their turbos and I am considering it. Just to upgrade it there is the question I need an answer to... What turbo is already on my car? I have a Bug eye WRX 2.0, it has various prodrive stuff on it but I know that doesn't include anything turbo wise. Sorry if I sound a little clueless, any help would be great!
  21. This is a very nice looking car, very good looking :o
  22. I run a Bailey and its decent, good sound and yeah it wont do any damage :)
  23. colour coded would be better :)
