X 2 I'm managing the design and build of an insurance website at the moment. The car list supplied by Thatcham has the PPP listed as standard cars. As an example the WRX in 2004 has.... WRX (221) WRX (261) - this being the PPP, I can't remember the exact bhp figure but you get the idea. The STIs are listed separately. All have their own ABIs, I'll check the insurance groups for them tomorrow, pretty sure the PPP is same as standard.

I think if you want a bigger scoop you can just go STI...but is there a reason? Not really worth it I wouldn't have thought unless going bigger intercooler, upgraded fuel pump, improved air intake, remap blah blah

I paid £110 for centre and back box [emoji4] You could also try plasti dip (cheap) to get an idea of wheel colour..that's what I'm doing

Nice car mate, welcome. I have a silver blob WRX. Got to say I prefer my wheels then they are dark and dirty all smothered in brake dust..so I'm going for a dark grey colour I think. I have a WR Sport exhaust on mine which was a standard option. It sounds lovely. Even had a few people come up and comment [emoji16] not sure if you can get a non turbo equivalent? I just bought the back box second hand off eBay [emoji41]

I've de-tangoed headlights today and also sanded and sprayed a rather tired looking battery clamp....the mrs thinks I'm nuts. Better update my avatar

I'm impressed they've done so much. I wouldn't have expected so much from 2nd hand car sales. I saw a place online selling scoops brand new for £70 I think it was the other day and though of you. Me personally would pay the £70 for the scoop and be content they are spraying and fitting it....but thats just me I guess. How much did you pay for the 05?

Sorry mate only just seen this. I've got it set a highest quality 1080p wide view with audio (need to turn the audio off cos all it's doing is recording my swearing and singing). I have a 32gb micro SD in it. I've not checked exactly how long but it is over three hours. I've set it up to do 3 minute clips and to cycle when the card is complete. So you don't have to clear it down it just records over the oldest clip. I've had the camera a while now and it is great. Small enough to pop in your pocket and the quality is spot on. I would post a clip but I need to find one where I'm not singing :D ....for your sake!

Yes I have been looking at anthracite. Not seen it in the fresh...looks like a bronze/black kinda colour on the web pics I've seen. That a fair description?

Yea mate love em. Bloke before me put cheap Chinese on the back to get it through the mot before selling to me...got a four wheel side in the wet doing a slow speed around a roundabout, scared the !Removed! out of me...the very next day I got four of these and it's almost like buying a new car [emoji3]

Some numpty has attempted to spruce them up but the finish is quite bad on some of them.

I have standard silver ones, not a good picture but hopefully you can make them out..

Interesting you say powder coated. I've not looked into that as a choice. Can I ask why you chose powder coating, how long since ypuge done them and how is it holding up?

Hi All I have a 01G platinum blob. My wheels could do with a refurb so I'm going to get a colour change. Can you guys with silver scoobs show me some pics with your wheels please to give me some idea what to go for? I have bog standard silver wheels but like the colour of the fronts with a lot of brake dust on them

I have read people saying it effects some cars more than others. I'd suggest you're careful not to use too much oil when you clean it.
