WRC blue. I bought a Silver bug brand new in the day...and now I have a silver blob so all my mates are taking the **** asking me if I bought back my old car lol
I'm consoling myself with the fact that 2 out of 3 Imprezas are blue :D
I only say it because I lost patience :D . I've got a great car in good nick but I compromised on colour....I think regret is too string a word but I do keep having a sneaky peak at the classifieds :)
I'm with Dave :) hold out for a nice clean example with loads of paperwork and FS for that amount of money. There are loads out there so patience is the key.
What cars have u had before? A WRX is incredibly powerful in standard form and can get you in trouble very quickly if you're not careful.
So I wouldn't say it's lacking in power and desperately needs to be increased another 100bhp (50% increase!!) as soon as you get it mate :)
If I was to buy again I think I would hold out longer for my colour of choice and factory fitted PPP.
I'll always go for a well cared for car with lots of documentation.
Just catching upon old posts. So Mel, do you still have the car? If so what have you done to it since? And if not what have you moved on to?
Did you do the airbrushing yourself? Does look stunning. Reminds me of those 60's and 70's custom cars.
Lol. I'm not that old :D
I am 45 and pay £200....but I do have a clean licence and 9+ years NCD. Not always been that way I've learned a few lesions :D
When I was looking for my car I met a few under 25's. When I asked them how much their insurance was it was cheat than mine. I pay £200 and they said £150...then I realised they were quoting me the monthly cost :D
I'm 45 with a 04 blob. My premium is £200 but I've got 9+ years NCD. They said they game me a 85% discount so that would take it quite close to your quote.
Why are you limiting yourself to those companies? I can't really advise as I'm 20 years older than you so don't have the same difficulties. I have had really good experiences with swift and LV...and you've obviously got the brokers who specialise in mods
Nice. I did investigate it seriously for a few months and I got to the point where I was going to get it installed but I was then convinced it shouldn't be done to a turbo.
Can I ask who you got to do the conversion and LPG remapping?
