  1. mine has the same levels of modifications... I'm gonna be decatting my up pipe and remapping next year so will be interesting to see what difference it makes to the MPG!!
  2. Ah that's not too bad then... :D
  3. You must know the petrol station staff by first names!
  4. Currently trying to find an STI scoop for my WRX and the cheapest I've found is £130 and then I would need to get it painted black. Found a few places that sell fibreglass ones, obviously advertised as very high quality and they are half the price (still need painted tho) Anyone have any experience with fibreglass? Any issues or should I be good to go with it?
  5. Yeh I had one on my car not so long ago... well made and sound good!
  6. No problem... there are other options that are not on scoobyworld... all depends if you want straight exit, angled exit or how loud etc
  7. Here's a link to the scoobyworld page with all their exhaust parts for your model. http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=24_53&osCsid=c4i69eeilasnulspfts2ag6lb6 Cosworth is a good make as well!
  8. I have the Afterburner vortex and non-resonated centre section... gives a nice burble and is not too loud. Panel filter, go with a dry type to avoid ruining the MAF, I'm using the pipercross one and it's been very good!
  9. Unfortunately you can't do most of the mods without a remap. You can do a cat back exhaust and a better panel filter, but anymore exhaust parts or fuel pump need a remap.
  10. My car isn't even remapped yet... :D
  11. Nah you won't need bigger injectors... A good start is like Jay said, high flow panel filter, de-cat up-pipe and an uprated fuel pump. If you want to go full ham you can go down the fully decat route or sports cat. Then map of course... Just depends on how much you want to spend!
  12. Yeh so was I when i bought mine, got it September 2014 with 32k on the clock and only 1 owner!! We got pretty lucky :D
  13. So I'm on nightshift 10 of 14 (back to back,12 hour shifts... the joys of overtime!!) so I've only been doing my commute to work the past week and a bit... Last week I had two incidents with idiot drivers in the space of 12 miles, so I then decided since I'm working so much I'm just going to take my time, drive in the slow lane all the time, resist using boost to put a Honda in it's place etc... My fuel light just came on tonight... I've racked up 330 miles before the light came on. Who say's Imprezas aren't economical?!?
  14. Slowly but surely getting all the parts together for fitting the various bits before getting my car mapped... all I need is the fuel pump!!
  15. Welcome to the club!! The Scottish numbers on here are steadily growing!! :D
  16. It's just the up-pipe that is getting de-catted... it seems like a good package price!!
  17. It's always nice to find one with super low miles (I'm sitting at 42k :D), would def look into the cambelt... if it hasn't been changed in 12 years I would get it done!
  18. Not having much luck with breakers so thot I might as well chance my arm on here!! Looking for an STI bonnet scoop for a blob, preferably in black but i suppose i could always get a blue one and either respray it or wrap it. Also looking for the undertray as I'm going to be fitting an STI intercooler. Ta!
  19. Welcome!! Yeh check for full service history and make sure it hasn't done in excess of 7k miles between services, see if the cambelt has been changed also. Take the car out for a drive and check for any smoke out of the exhaust, blue smoke could point to a failing turbo.
  20. Decent panel filter and look into removing the airbox resonator to get a lot more turbo and induction noise!
  21. Might try and convince the wife to sell her Yaris and get this XD
  22. Real shame you're having to sell... I don't think it will take long for a buyer to come along, great looking car for not a lot of money!! Good luck!!
  23. The Scots are flooding in!! Welcome to the club!!
