  1. Thought I might as well share some more pics of the work I've done over the past few months... Installed GFB blow off valve, STI top mount and strut brace Installed new undertray and STI scoop New speakers!! With new scoop Previous owners let the wheels rot... getting them refurbed next week, speedline gold!
  2. Yeh the headers look stunning, shame they are somewhere that no one will see them!
  3. This thing will be a brute when completed!! I do like to see shiny bits... will be following this now Also lol to your sig... sent using a Nokia 3310?
  4. Hello folks, Bought these off ChrisD last year with the plans of using them on new, deeper wheels so a longer nut would be a good idea, decided to go down the refurb route and they stick out a bit too far on my standard WRX wheels for my taste! 20 nuts and the key, 12 x 1.25mm thread size (fit standard studs). £20 posted. Pic shamelessly stolen from ChrisD's original for sale thread, I have never used them, put one nut on to test and decided against them.
  5. I would recommend fitting an STI bonnet scoop... really sets the front of the car off :D
  6. Primatte and Primark.... oh wait.....
  7. They're not crap as such... just not as strong, I believe they are good up to around 350hp? I may be wrong on that....
  8. The gear knob is awful in it... looks like it used to be silver then someone sat on it XD
  9. I would find out more about what sort of damage it received... could have some hidden bodge repairs!! Does look stunning tho, never seen a Hawkeye in red!
  10. Ah that's a shame... I would've done the same thing, just found out my boss drives a focus diesel and it hasn't been serviced in over 30k miles!! The Hawkeyes are very good, the 2.5 gives a little more torque down low... What STI upgrades does it have?
  11. I like the blue... would be a lot easier on the eyes in the dark!
  12. That's good to know!! I'm constantly having to dip my mirror and it bugs the hell out of me!
  13. Welcome to the club!! Nice to see another black WRX :D
  14. Sorry, not sure if there is a reservoir for the steering pump. Does it make the noise at any degree of turn or at full lock? I know my wifes car when it is on full lock the belt squeaks a bit...
  15. Cracking looking car mate! How hard was it to fit the boost gauge? I am considering doing one exactly like yours but the part that puts me off is wiring the power to it :D
  16. Welcome to the club!! Your best bet is to probably try and find some breakers, plenty of them online or on ebay (I got my scoop from an ebay breaker)
  17. Yeh I contemplated getting a carbon fibre scoop which had a mesh on it which looked smart, ended up just getting a 2nd hand genuine STI one instead :D
  18. Nope, standard scoops don't have a mesh!
  19. Can you describe the sound?
  20. Welcome to the club! Always nice to see the Scottish numbers increasing! :D
  21. I entered a competition being run by my local garage giving away a free remap, didn't win but they are offering a 25% discount to everyone who entered.... HNNNNNNNNG
  22. Ha! I just came from your thread... in the words of Tesco.. every little helps!
  23. Wheels are booked in, getting picked up on Tuesday and getting all 4 wheels completely overhauled and painted speedline gold! Will be strange having my car sit on my driveway on axle stands for a couple of days :D
  24. Welcome to the club!!
