I have just fitted a different back box to my car so my old one is up for sale!! Straight exit japspeed exhaust with 4.5" slashed tailpipe, 2.5" fitment (so will fit directly onto standard centre pipes) and the hangers are in the newage position. Sounds really nice, good deep burble and is actually a little louder than my new one but not overly offensive! I will give it a good clean prior to posting it will no doubt still have some marks on it, no damage on it at all (it's less than a year old) Asking for £75 posted or £60 collected (Fife, Scotland) ONO

Bought myself an angled exit exhaust... found one listed on ebay, guy took it off his scoob that he bought. He sold it as an unknown brand as there are no makers stamps on it or anything. Having done some research i was fairly sure it was an Afterburner Vortex. I won the auction on Sunday and it arrived today. Took my torch and shined down the pipe and there is a distinct feature of this exhaust... which makes me think it is a Vortex. Could be wrong tho, still... not bad for £75 delivered P.S Any reason we are not allowed to use imgur as image extensions?

The first time i clayed my car was the first time it had ever been done... 11 years of ming embedded in the paint... took me a couple of hours! Clay cloth will hopefully be a lot quicker!

If i had the cash I would snap these up... cracking looking wheels! Good luck with the sale!

Possibly flat battery? My civics old battery died a couple of times and had the same symptoms... wouldn't turn over but would make a clicking noise and the dash kind of flickered.

Clay cloth arrived the other day, car needs a fresh coat of wax as the water is just started to stop beading on my car. Clay bar takes ages and wanted to see how good the cloth is! Shame the weather hasn't been great for me to try it.... :/

Mine is a japspeed as well but it is a straight exit... mine just have to bite the bullet and buy a new one

As the title suggests, after an angled exit backbox as I prefer the look of them compared to straight exit. Don't really have any preference to what make... let me know what you have and how much you want for it!

Yeh my drivers side is covered in lots of little scratches. I just want to keep it at this level without it getting worse... hence getting the front repaired ASAP. Plus it really bugged me having the damage XD

So after having a driving licence for over 10 years and not hitting anything... i finally hit something... and it wasn't cool. Nothing major, just frustrated with traffic on my way to work, get to the small parking area at my work, colleague parked like a knob and while manoeuvring in a tight space, trying not to hit his car... i hit a handrail. Bugger... So inquired with a couple of places and heard some good things about Chips Away... plus, they come to me and do all the work on my driveway! They did an excellent job and so I thought i would post a before and after shot. There is still a very slight kink in the fog light surround but it's barely noticeable. Not bad for £168...

I remember reading somewhere that it would need to be drilled... Hopefully someone else can come along and either correct me or agree :D

I was actually gonna recoomend the blackvue but thot it was too expensive since you said you would be willing to go over £100... not £250 XD

Sorry no it's the power cable... there is an LED on the unit which lights up when it has power... this morning, no LED... in wifes car... no LED. When the dashcam receives power it automatically switches on and starts recording. Noticed this morning that it never and no LED on the power cable. Camera still turns on fine... but I'm not willing to keep taking the camera out of the car to charge it. Already arranged for a return with amazon. Hope that makes sense... just off night shift and about to go to bed :D

I don't have a multimeter... just do the test of plugging in a different device and seeing if it works! Sat nav still works fine and gets power... just not the dashcam, and like I said... tested in my wifes car and no power from it either!

Well that was short lived... in car charger for the dashcam has stopped working. Tested it in my wifes car and it is totally dead. I know it wasn't the most expensive unit in the world but still, expected better from a £45 dashcam!

Personally... I would go down the custom route. Potential problem with bolt on stuff is that it could still take a bit of work to make fit. My centre pipe didn't line up with my back box very well and took a bit of force to get them to line up (force being to stretch the rubber hangers a bit) so even tho it's a direct bolt on... sometimes it's not as straight forward. Custom made will more than likely avoid this as it is designed to specifically to your car... will still sound fantastic and cheaper. Sounds like win-win! Apart from the waiting bit....... that kinda sucks :D

I have no idea... I saw he quite clearly looked and saw me, the other car approaching stopped... he obviously just went "I have a BMW... so neuww"

Got a few knobs on my home from work this morning! I was so excited since i have the dashcam i had to edit them and get them on youtube before going to bed XD First we have a classic lane hogger: Then we have a Corsa who was patient enough to let me overtake... then impatient enough to overtake on the roundabout. The barrier on the roundabout makes it difficult for me to see since I'm in the right hand lane, which is why I slow down so much... then quickly followed by a BMW who thinks he has right of way.

Yeh it's a long video and you would have to be incredibly bored to watch the whole thing :D
