Either that or there are plenty of up-pipes from STI's on ebay.
What part do you mean when you say front pipe? Is that another name for the downpipe? Would you want decat or sports cat?
New brake discs and pads arrived... ordered some braided brake lines as well, thot I might as well upgrade my brake lines since I'll have all the brakes apart :D
Had my car serviced today... done 12k miles now since buying my car in September 2014! Time flies when you're having fun! Desperately needs some new brake discs tho... I'm thinking a full black diamond kit for £410?
Yeh the front bumper was lying next to it about 20ft away... seems like he probably put his foot down coming off the roundabout and somehow lost control
Scoop is installed! Was relatively painless apart from two bolts on the old scoop had rusted on and took a lot of sweary words and two broken clips to remove! Gave the scoop a coat of wax before installing as well!
No, my car is a WRX so have a smaller scoop... I've installed an STI intercooler so needed the undertray to make the most of it, and the undertray doesn't fit under the WRX scoop so had to get an STI one. Finding one in black was near enough impossible so bought a blue one and had it resprayed
Yeh some of the flooding looks really bad... some parts of Scotland have been affected but no where near as bad as you guys.
Yeh it's my daily commute, tried to get a train... first train at 6:20AM was full... couldn't get on it so gave up and decided to drive... my 30 mile round trip has turned into a 90 mile round trip. Thankfully I'm only working today and tomorrow then off until the 21st, I would be out murdering if i had to put up with it all week
Installed the STI intercooler today... was very straight forward actually, taking the old out was harder!!
Also cleaned out my IAC valve which was veeeeeeery dirty, deems to have done the trick, no more revs jumping between gears!!
No, you need the dump valve attached to the intercooler for it to make any noise as that is where the pressurized air is coming out of. You will need to blank of the pipe going into the intake which should be located below the dump valve. You will also need to attach the vacuum pipe to the dump valve (the smallest pipe)
