  1. Maybe it has gone into limp mode? Maybe worth looking for fault codes...
  2. I'll break out the pressure washer at the weekend and give them a good blast... I'll see if I can take the pads out to grease them as well. Any ideas about the uneven braking? Feels like I'm easing off then re-applying the brakes over and over again when I come to a compete hault
  3. I did not as it was not me who fitted them! I had issues with the caliper bolts and had to concede and get a garage to fit them. Should they squeal when I'm turning with no braking applied tho?
  4. Hey guys, I had all new brake discs and pads put on my car back in January, apart from squealing a little at very low speeds, all was well. Recently (in the last week) I have noticed that when at very low speeds (maneuvering in car park speeds) when I'm turning right (actual car moving right, not steering wheel movement) I get a little brake squeal from what sounds to be the front right, my foot is not on the brake when this happens. Also sometimes under moderate braking when coming to a stop, it feels like my brakes are going on and off, well... not as harsh as that but it feels like my pads are only gripping parts of the disc, almost like the are warped slightly... but I get no judder and the discs are only 3 months old and not abused. Does that make sense? Possible sticky caliper? Edit: Forgot to mention, had my wheels refurbed a few weeks ago and it seems they haven't been balanced properly, could this be playing a part? I have my doubts but thot it would be worth mentioning!
  5. Very nice!
  6. Welcome to the club! Nice looking cars!
  7. Ah that's a pain in the hoop....
  8. Yeh, those are the kind of wheels those nuts are designed for!
  9. What kind of fitting is it? Considering your standard centre pipe fit the HKS downpipe you shouldn't have issues with your aftermarket one!
  10. No, they are 2.5's as well... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201603091785677?sort=default&searchcontext=default&minimum-badge-engine-size=2.4&page=1&make=subaru&postcode=KY4%208AW&radius=200&onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&model=impreza&search-target=usedcars&logcode=p
  11. They look excellent with your wheels!!
  12. Very nice!!
  13. If your radiators are cold at the bottom but hot at the top, no doubt caused by a build up of crap (corrosion etc), system would ideally need flushed or worst case scenario, each radiator taken outside and properly rinsed out! This had to be done in my old house... was a nightmare! When the plumber drained the system you would think my heating system was filled with oil it was that black! After a good clean out, water was crystal clear and every part of my radiator was hot... happy days!
  14. Great BOV, If I didn't already have one of my own I would've bought this! This shouldn't take long to sell...
  15. Oh absolutely... The wife asked me to go to Tesco today and I was rather reluctant! When I got back from Tesco I took the wheels off again and gave them a little wash and a coating of wax!
  16. I still use boost at least once every drive! I did use a shot of redex a few tanks ago so that could've helped
  17. The camera on my phone is !Removed!, they are the proper speedline gold! Camera doesn't do them justice!!
  18. Wheels are now done!
  19. Also took my exhaust off and gave it a good polish, along with washing the whole car while waiting for my wheels to come back
  20. Got the wheels back... look so good!!
  21. What do you mean by header box? Also welcome to the club!
