  1. Bahahaha!!
  2. That would certainly be an interesting number plate for a woman in her late 40's early 50's!!
  3. That's a lot of kit for not a lot of money... be daft to pass this up, purchased!
  4. I don't know why they changed it... i think it looks daft, it's A3 WSM so jamming it together makes no sense. It's on an Audi A3 and it's her initials so it doesn't form a word or anything!
  5. Well, they have put them on two of their cars... the mum and one of her sons cars!! Will be interesting to see how long they last!
  6. Just intrigued... My neighbours have always had private number plates, but today they have fitted new ones, same plate but with a slight change. They have removed the 33mm gap which separates the two groups so it's now just 5 characters all together. I thought this was illegal? I've googled it and have found that number plates need to have the 33mm gap but this relates to standard plates, couldn't find anything on private ones. Thoughts?
  7. I cleaned my IACV with petrol, worked quite well! Mine is different to the classic one tho
  8. I actually considered that as well but I needed to use the adapters as they act as spacers as well, otherwise my new speakers would stop the window from going all the way down!
  9. What parts do you have in mind?
  10. I wave at imprezas mainly, or import Foresters... in my area, UK foresters are driven by older men... no offence Stants :D
  11. Welcome to the club! Can't possibly comment on the quality of these... have you looked into getting a second hand STI top mount? Could work out cheaper. That's what I did!
  12. I hated Dayz so much... the zombies were so glitchy and other players were just pricks! 7D2D I run a server so only me and my brother in law can play... i'm not interested in PVP!
  13. Playing a lot of 7 days to die... great game as long as you have a buddy to play with... Fortress of protection from zombies 2.0
  14. -1 outside? Let's give her a wash... the water was freezing on my driveway! By the end of it, had a ring of ice around my car :D
  15. Subwoofer installed and configured... compliments the new speakers very well!! Dinky 4" speakers arrived for me to install into the rear doors... almost there!
  16. I have a Afterburner Vortex and it is pretty loud, but I do have a non-resonated centre section and a decat cat pipe :D
  17. 12" vibe bad boy... bought it off ebay for 30 quid!
  18. Yeh absolutely, I removed my sub from the boot when i had to take my parents to the airport, never put it back in thinking the speakers would compensate, guess not... at least I left all the cabling in place so should only be a ten minute job hopefully!
  19. Sound quality is decent, not very bassy tho... altho they are only 5" speakers, guess I'll reinstall my sub and buy some brackets to secure properly this time :D
  20. Got there in the end.,.. had to drill new holes in the adapters so they would fit in the original mounting holes
  21. Ok... After contemplating drilling new holes in the door... decided it would be far easier to drill new holes in the adapters and success!!
  22. Failed at fitting speakers in my front doors... the adapters no where near line up with the original holes... which kinda defeats the purpose... :/
  23. You can take off the ICV and give it a clean... my car would randomly jump in revs between gears changes, cleaned the ICV and it cured the issue
  24. Well, I bought a speaker kit off ebay which consisted of two speakers, two adapter brackers and two cable adapters. Cable adapters worked great but the adapter bracket? Not so much.... It's waaaaaaaaaay too big, not even close to aligning with the existing holes which I've heard there are brackets out there that do line up. If the bracket is screwed into the top hole, the bracket goes so far down, it completely blocks the door card from going back on! Has anyone had any luck with brackets they have bought which fit directly into the existing holes?? I'd rather avoid drilling as much as possible, next route would be to get my father-in-law to make me up some brackets...
  25. Yes mine is 18L... don't think my car would suit not having a rear bumper... sorry! :D
