Just been reading in jap performance mag about a company called krown that use some kind of mist spray that attacks the likes of surface rust and basically gets underneath it to protect the metal. It eventually turns into a gel so never sets and doesn't fall off or get chipped so protects for longer. Takes about 4 hours to do a car. Not sure on cost though.

Thb not sure what causes brakes to squeal could just be a build up of brake dust & grime . If you've had them all off its a good idea to clean everything up with brake cleaner and reassemble put some copper grease on the back of the pads ( obviously not the side in contact with the discs 😂) this should stop the squealing.

I'll try and make an appearance if nothing else has crept up. Sound ok probably do it on a drive back down to work basis.

Come home to find my alright neighbour has not only put 3 small dings in the drives door but marked the rear passenger door as well with his poxy bm gggrrr. Time for a word in his ear like. 😡😡😡😡😡

Changed insurance to greenlight very happy. They'll mirror my no claims from another insurance company as iv a crap 307 as a daily run into the ground so will insure that 4 next to nothing ha ha

I got one from japspeed really good fit and it does cool things down better than standard so I'd say worth the upgrade. Not sure about the eBay one it does look very similar to my japspeed one but couldn't say for definite.

Just had greenlight call me back they will insure my modded scooby for just under £600 which I think is a good price. I'll check out the way Daz above is doing his insurance as I currently have 3 cars and a bike insured in my name.

Where did you get insurance like that ? That's the kind of thing I'd like. Bet most insurance companies won't do that as they'll lose out on loads of money they can charge for individual policies on the cars we own.
