  4. You get 2 readings because your dipstick goes in on a angle towards the drivers side of car.i wipe the stick then dip again to check level and have it just under to max mark.over filling is as bad for a engine as not havin enough oil in it.in between half and full and your ok.2 much puts strain on a engine.always check it with the oil can on the dip stick towards front car.if its upside down your getting wrong reading. 7. do you no you can buy your mishimoto parts from their uk dealer, thats were i get my stuff from, here's their ebay shop, stuff usually delivered in about 3 days. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/mishimototrader/
  8. well this weekend i have changed the oil, filter, rear diff oil, spark plugs, car run's like a dream now, yesterday fitted my halo headlights, the car was fitted with a hid conversion but i did not like it,and car looks much better with the halos in
  9. you could just put a new connector on,1 of these 3 pin are great for them http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electrical-Waterproof-Connector-1-2-3-4-5-6-Pin-Way-Superseal-Car-Boat-Kit-Clip-/222066382159?var=&hash=item33b430154f:m:m8fkUnY7eWsrc0SFlCqeIWw if you want to ditch the stupid morrette wireing and do it easy with less faults here is how i wired mine up,did a set yesterday for a guy as well, half hour wired up and ready to go.
  10. You sould be able to get them at halfords mate.or maplin.ebay.may have to show them the picture or part at halfords. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  11. fitted 2 sets headlights today, set morrettes in a bug wagon and a set of halo's in my blob, hope i dont regret fitting these halo's had a set before and build quality was not the best, but hated the hid conversion kit that was on and they do look nice
  12. finishing gauges install today, was using the sandwich plate for oil sensor's as easy option, backfired on me as i ended up snapping the oil temp sensor off in the sandwich plate hole so half day wasted on that will do it the proper way now when av oredered new senor and stuff, you lean by yor mistakes i guess. @Jay762 stickers are good for atleast another 10bhp
  13. changed my opinion on oil other last couple days, here is what i mean, all the subarus i have had i have always used shell helix and was happy with it,when i bought this blobeye i gave it a oil change as i do with all my car so i no its done,so the oil as been in about 2 weeks now, today i was finishing doing my gauges and i was going to use a sandwich plate for oil sensors but not now, diffrent story that, but any way i decided to change oil again but try something diffrent,so decided on castrol magnetec 5w/30w 5A fully synthetic and have to say what a diffrence it has made, when your under bonnet the car sounds quieter and much smoother and when driving it seams much smoother, before if i was coasting down hill in 3rd at about 3000rpm the car sounded rough no it sounds nice no bad sounding noises and even the noises from the turbo which i was told was the turbo on its way out have gone, car picks up lovely now,the big test will be in 2 week when i change oil again to see if their is a diffrence in the condition of the oil to the 2 weeks runing shell helix which was black when i drained it,so will let you no in 2 weeks.oh and the magnetec was cheaper to buy
  14. Started mi mini service today.changed oil n filter.coolant.and rear diff oil.tommorow list is spark plugs, air filter and fit new head lights. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  15. Didn't think it would be a straight forward as just bolt them on. What width wheels you thinking of going for then to fell the arches You need to cut the arches to make way for wider wheels and make extensions for the arch liners as they wont fit anymore.few videos on youtube about them. 16. Sold Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  17. no prob, sounds like you still have a lead that connects each headlight unit that goes across the car acroos top radiator or somewere near their, check make sure its connected ok,bad connection will stop them working.
  18. dont bother with the relays way of wiring them up,here is how i did mine on my bug wagon, their littrally 10 min job each side car.
  19. forgot to say i have this listed on ebay for a maybe even better bargain price, but auction runs out in 23hours,here link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191828320954?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  20. to be honest mate i could not tell you, from pictures i have seen it does look like it would,if a standard oem blob bov would fit your intercooler then this will fit, maybe someone on here will no if the blov are same fitting, you could mesure the base plate n hole distance and i can check.,your close to me you could nip over and have a look
  21. well thought this would have gone by now
  22. same bov as i have for sale in the part forum.see dont it look nice in the engine bay
  23. fitted new wiper blades. will be good to see were am going now if it rains.
  24. going to have mine done soon, wont be trying myself as i get bubble trying to put my screen protector on my phone lol.a mate did his own years ago on a escort got it from halfords did a good job.
  25. well if he had told me he had put new tyres on and i got their and they was old,i wouldnt have even bothered looking at it,if he allready telling you porkies about that then their could be a million hidden things wrong with it that he not going to be honest about,i would say even paying 7 grand would be foolish if he was that bad, their is too many subarus out their to choose from,so no point buying one that could have hidden problems and big bills in a few months.
