Well today will be mainly changing rad hose.stop at traffic lights and noticed all steam comin out scoop and from under wheel arches.pulled over quick didnt overheat.found tiny little split in pipe which sprayin a fine jet coolant onto exhaust manifold.so should be ok no damage. sickner mate,my HG went on my hatchback as well,hatch is not the best when it comes to HG's

it sould be stamp't on the inside of the wheel,have a look on the spokes.

sss showed me how to get the air out my hatchback,leave it on ground with header tank top off,car ticking over and the little hose that goes to the top left corner of the radiator take that off as air gets stuck in top of radiator,pop back on top up your header tank and its done.

i been offered the red dial defi style swoop cluster for a very cheap price and my gauges light up red,would mean changing the speedo to mph,but they will all light up same and go swoop on start up ,but i dont no if the connectors are the same,best picture of the connectors he could give me was this,the end connectors look like they are lower at 1 side and mine are all flat if that makes sence,just want to no if my connectors will fit.

yeah thats it mate,i use it at work as well with lifting industrial ovens about all day and if you pull it tight it hide's a beer gut as well lol,also use it sat at pc,had not pain with it.

has anyone changed their uk speedo cluster to a jdm cluster in a blobeye,are the 3 connectors on top of the unit the same?

thing i did not like about my hid conversions,was all the extra wireing and balasts in engine bay,think it made things untidy,they was brighter then my halo but another thing i did not like was with the hid when you put the high beam on it makes no diffrence to the light,but i did have led bulbs in which was super bright.

Changed the rear lights to hawkeye lights today.what sould have been a 30min job took 4 hours when i found the last owner or someone had messed with wireing.just rapt wires round each other and tapt them up.so i soldered them all together heat shrink over them.sorted now.looks much more modern now me think. You get 2 readings because your dipstick goes in on a angle towards the drivers side of car.i wipe the stick then dip again to check level and have it just under to max mark.over filling is as bad for a engine as not havin enough oil in it.in between half and full and your ok.2 much puts strain on a engine.always check it with the oil can on the dip stick towards front car.if its upside down your getting wrong reading. Well getting out car today the mrs said whats that on spoiler.their is only a great big crack appeared in it,about 6inch long [emoji22] so looking like my plan to start moddin suspension next is on hold.have to get this off fix it and get it to shop to be sprayed.may as well get my foglight covers n couple other parts done at same time. well this weekend i have changed the oil,filter,rear diff oil,spark plugs,car run's like a dream now,yesterday fitted my halo headlights,the car was fitted with a hid conversion but i did not like it,and car looks much better with the halos in

fitted 2 sets headlights today,set morrettes in a bug wagon and a set of halo's in my blob,hope i dont regret fitting these halo's had a set before and build quality was not the best,but hated the hid conversion kit that was on and they do look nice

finishing gauges install today,was using the sandwich plate for oil sensor's as easy option,backfired on me as i ended up snapping the oil temp sensor off in the sandwich plate hole so half day wasted on that will do it the proper way now when av oredered new senor and stuff,you lean by yor mistakes i guess. @Jay762 stickers are good for atleast another 10bhp

changed my opinion on oil other last couple days,here is what i mean,all the subarus i have had i have always used shell helix and was happy with it,when i bought this blobeye i gave it a oil change as i do with all my car so i no its done,so the oil as been in about 2 weeks now,today i was finishing doing my gauges and i was going to use a sandwich plate for oil sensors but not now,diffrent story that,but any way i decided to change oil again but try something diffrent,so decided on castrol magnetec 5w/30w 5A fully synthetic and have to say what a diffrence it has made,when your under bonnet the car sounds quieter and much smoother and when driving it seams much smoother,before if i was coasting down hill in 3rd at about 3000rpm the car sounded rough no it sounds nice no bad sounding noises and even the noises from the turbo which i was told was the turbo on its way out have gone,car picks up lovely now,the big test will be in 2 week when i change oil again to see if their is a diffrence in the condition of the oil to the 2 weeks runing shell helix which was black when i drained it,so will let you no in 2 weeks.oh and the magnetec was cheaper to buy
