  1. My classic impreza has the past 7 years service history from subarus4you. I can't give you first hand experience but the older gentlemen that owned my car spoke very highly of them. Prices seem to be quite competitive.
  2. No worries. They look really good. Does help when you're trying to do heat management.
  3. Any chance of a look at exhaust manifold and the full system?
  4. Phwoar look at the grill on that! I'd love to fill that with flies...
  5. Super guide here Gambit. Ecu reset works perfectly. Nice having all the codes here too. Makes quick and easy browsing. Cheers Miggs for that!
  6. Done a quick ecu check. Flashed up knock sensor [emoji47] gonna reset and see if it crops up again. If anyone can let me know where it is in preparation please it'll be greatly appreciated. [emoji106]
  7. Here's my tensioner for comparison.
  8. Yeah my pump was from icp. Car is on 160k now so with no paperwork of pump ever being done I don't care if it was still gleeming fresh out the box it's getting swapped [emoji1]
  9. There was no proof of the water pump being done on mine so we did it for peace of mind. The one we took off looked in really good condition though.
  10. We done my cambelt last weekend and that had a hydraulic tensioner. My car is a classic on x reg(2000)
  11. Oh sweet. Thank you! [emoji106]
  12. What did you do? [emoji1]
  13. I'll have the other half provide the cupcakes!
  14. Ok. Thank you. This is my first show so it's all new to me [emoji47]
  15. I had a quick look at the form, how we pay for our +1's?
  16. Looks much more aggressive.
  17. Welcome to the club!
  18. There's no service history to suggest the engine has ever been apart. That's not to say it hasn't been done. But if you heard it you'd be shocked to hear it was on 160k miles now.
  19. Full service completed with not one difficult bolt. I'm well impressed by just how well the previous owners have cared for the car. The water pump was in pretty good nick but I put the new one on anyway. Old one can go on the spares pile. Each plug has worn equally. No lean or rich running on any of them. Oil really did need changing but nothing untoward. Oh and I apparently have variable valve timing? Can anyone explain this to me? I know my old car had it but that was n/a.
  20. No worries. Cheers mate. I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully the car will be looking better by then otherwise I'll hide at the back [emoji1]
  21. Did I not make the list? [emoji47]
