  1. Aww bad news. Have you thought about trying t-cut first?
  2. I'm in over my head with all these shows and events. Is there a topic that'll tell me which events are best to go to? [emoji53]
  3. Ouch indeed. Did you find a spot of ice?
  4. New face looking at Ya [emoji47]
  5. Another japfest? Oooo gonna be an interesting year for me. I'll speak to the boss.
  6. When I bought my first impreza I jumped in with my heart ignoring my head and I got burnt big time. Ended up having to replace the engine and even then had issues so I sold up and sunk a lot of money. Learned a very valuable lesson. This time I searched and I waited. There is no harm in that. Cars find drivers so sit tight and you won't go wrong.
  7. You got the classics which are all pre 2000 and they have their own versions (v1 v2 and such). Bug eye from 2000 to 2003, blob eye from 2003 to 2005/55 plate. Hawk eye on until the hatchback. I have a classic turbo 2000 myself and have tried to extend my knowledge on those before confusing myself with any other models. I'm still learning myself too [emoji4] The hawkeyes have the 2.5l engine which changed the tax bracket which a lot of people seem to avoid.
  8. Hi Troy. Welcome to the club! Not much I can say on those models. I'm sure someone will be along to help.
  9. Sunday blues...nasty stuff [emoji20]
  10. Welcome along to the club Tom! Not sure on those years but on classics and now reported on newer cars it's rusty rear arches. Another common is power steering pumps. Try to find a car with a good bit of service history behind it. So you got peace of mind with it being looked after. Are you looking for a turbo impreza?
  11. Looks like a stand-off.
  12. Just been out for my playtime. Time for a clean up.
  13. Hi Beckie! Sounds like a well looked after classic. Have you had it on the dyno? Chuck some pictures up as I bet it looks smart.
  14. Welcome along! Can't wait to see pics. Love myself a classic.
  15. Looks smart. Nice colour.
  16. Had 30 minutes of sleet and then clear skies. Screenshot from dash cam.
  17. What happened last year? If you don't mind me asking.
  18. Give it a salute. Hopefully the owner has good intentions for a project one day.
  19. Welcome along Rob. Looking forward to a few pics [emoji4]
  20. Just need the plugs and oil. Booked in for 1st of Feb.
  21. Hope you're all enjoying the snow. Nothing down here in Kent. On a good note all my service bits arrived. Just awaiting oil. [emoji4]
  22. Excuse the darkness. I think I've worked this out now. Two lemons decided they couldn't see me on a roundabout. http://youtu.be/_KuX1MUkNAI Also a very convenient time to find out my hooter stopped working. Edit: just realised one is a bmw the other an Audi...I see a trend here
  23. Welcome to the club! Not sure on bug eyes. There a few members that own them so hopefully they can explain the clutch job. Scooby world do clutches. Might be pricey.
