Weight reduction and chassis mods for n/a. The 4WD is a cumbersome set up for a na engine plus the added weight compared to similar cars in the same bracket.

Before you rush to game. Smyths are doing selected trade ins and division is a tenner. Argos are selling tomb raider for £20 so I'll be picking it up for £30. I'll post in a sec with the list of games.
Overboost? If mapped, sounds similar to what I had after mapping. Can be easily tweaked. Could have had parts fitted that allow it to overboost in which case it'll need a map
The yellow capped tank is "overflow/expansion" and the metal lid is your header tank. Once the system is full and you're sure of no air locks, have the car running and watch the overflow. Make sure the header tank is closed. It shouldn't constantly bubble.
The expansion tank? That should have a little pipe in it so the lid shouldn't need to pop off. If the pressure has got that high to pop the lid then I'd go straight for the sniff test. Does it bubble when running?
Ask for the applied model code. Starts with GC8. You can use this to check if it is an sti. If he refuses to help you double check anything then there is something to hide and you're likely better off turning your back and walking away.
You'll lose power if you go UEL. With zorst and maps you don't need to map with centre or rear box changed. If you change the downpipe or cats whether decat or sports cat it will need a map also pre turbo changes need to be mapped.
You shouldn't need a remap just for an exhaust swap. Is it right hatchs have equal length manifolds? To get the burble you will need an unequal length manifold and that would need mapping in.
If you opened it when the coolant was hot it will spit at you anyway. A sniff test will check for hydro carbon which is a sign of exhaust gases entering the coolant system.
