  1. Just off to halfords................slowly ..................to get my red paint :D Or should it be silver :P
  2. Hi there,really liking the subaru B)
  3. I am sure its statistically proven that silver is the safest colour! Because you cant drive quick enough to have an accident :P
  4. Oh yes
  5. tbh i preferred the smoked, not too dark and would suit your dark green well(clear may stand out a bit) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SMOKED-SIDE-INDICATORS-WING-REPEATERS-SUBARU-IMPREZA-01-04-/141557182877?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item20f577319d Clear Next to each other Not too much difference, just a little more discrete
  6. This is behind For an idea on size
  7. 52 plate, ones i ordered pre smoked are http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMPREZA-01-04-SIDE-INDICATORS-WING-REPEATERS-CRYSTAL-CLEAR-/390916399219?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5b046ee073 Come with orange bulbs. So annoyed like i say,if i find them ,they are yours Need to think..............dangerous i know I looked in boot before in my little plastic tool case............nope :( I am sure i put them upstairs out of the way with the oe ones!
  8. Nah,ruled out, cheetahs for example are the quickest land animal due to BLACK spots :P Also black cars get you hotter quicker in summer
  9. I am presuming clear here................i have the oe orange ones I am looking for these If the orange are the ones,pm add and will post tomorrow FOC
  10. Gutted just been looking in bedroom, wardrobe, under bed even!! all those man hiding places...... Been in garage and its chocker from studio equipment, fought through it(no easy task) and stll can not find the box with them in :( Located the oe set or orange ones, not the clear as i bought clear, then within days i bought smoked and swapped out so not even used for long(day or 3 so as new).. If i come across them, its bothering me now as i would not sell them or throw them out, only possibility is they have been thrown out by accident in garage clear out before loading with studio stuff(unlikely imho). They are yours for free if found anyway, wont give up yet unless someone has some for you. Why is it i find the old orange ones and not clear Cheers ven
  11. Hi there,i am sure i have some new ones, clear let me look now
  12. When i get around to a map,it will be Duncan and 3 port, already checked out prices etc with him. Thats a good return on hp is that :) ,on the newage (well some apparently get away with it) get and eml light after removing a cat so needs to be mapped out. I have heard it spools 500rpm earlier ...............only a good thing for me :) I nearly went 3" but was concerned with noise so stuck with 2.5" (for my requirements i dont think the 0.5" will make much difference tbh on the bugeye as keeping the td04 as an every day drive). Going to get a cobra centre section next, after that maybe cat removed and map. No immediate plans tbh as happy right now, dont want to burn it all out quick, get bored then end up changing car(has happened previous with me) . Also fell into the trap of ever ending mods=££££ and does not go down well with the boss Have to be a sneaky sneak!!! Well other than the spoiler........... ;) Thanks for the advice :)
  13. Well i have been trying my pile of *beep* inforad v4e.............what crap 1st would not upload, but credit where due, they sorted it by taking over laptop and uploaded a different driver, all done...........so i thought........ Thought i would test it on a static camera that has only been there about 10yrs..........maybe longer and a big fat nothing Uploaded again on a whim..........went down m60 with all the average speed cameras, been there maybe a year, working from Jan,and again nothing So i await more feedback, yes £25 so i guess you get what you pay for, not giving in just yet! But its not even heavy enough for a paper weight Same as........ http://www.amazon.co.uk/Inforad-Warning-rechargeable-battery-detector/dp/B001IWOKVE Before i put a paypal claim in,will give another chance, not replied to my last message on friday,so will give till tue, another message then thats it, Will require sending back to Ireland, already cost £5 so another£5 = £10 out of pocket=not happy. Tried now 3 times to make sure up to date, had the green lights for searching satellites, then 2 amber to say ready............and thats it More principle than the £10.................... So if going to but one,buy once cry once and dont do what I did ,thinking this cheap pile of *beep* will do the job!!
  14. From a little re-search it looks like you can fit unequal headers, but it is also recommended to replace cat back or at least the rear silencer too. If latter not done then a decent back section and centre section, good panel filter be it K&N or cosworth will help. I just put a panel filter and cobra exhaust, the difference is quite surprising regarding noise. I already had a quiet burble, but now far more distinct. It is noted though, not being t/c you wont quite get the same burble noise.......of the wrx/sti iirc your zaust is 2.25",as long as the flange is the same size(matches bolt holes) and have new gaskets at the ready then going to a 2.5" should be issue free. Double check though!,i know i can go to 3" full system from my 2.5" diameter pipe as the flanges are the same size.(example)............i am not though, dont want too loud or risk any loss in back pressure without mapping(unsure if i would or not loose pressure).
  15. Hi there, nice looking motor,i will look out for you as in the area ;)
  16. Its obviously black for several reasons......... a- i have one b- i have one c- i have one :P
  17. Makes life a little easier :)
  18. Very B) Gaulson, would love some more pics please, little further back and few angles :D
  19. Cheers,I do miss it Gaulson :( ,just having the time, kids liked it sometimes but it was a full day out when going peaks. All the lanes, not to mention chances of breaking something and needing next day for work=bit stressful at times. Like taking your subaru for a good few hours on the track, then next day using for work...........kind of takes the edge off. Did not break much though over the years, and never needed towing home. Couple of issues where water and starting issues, 2 days after a very flooded day in the peaks. Other than that a fubar CV joint, ended up changing the drive shaft. Parts not bad though, iirc it was £145 for the n/s shaft. Not looking forward to finding out how much some subaru parts are I will be looking for a discrete dash cam though, sub £100 ideally :)
  20. Love the thread, going to get a dedicated cam for the subaru,of past i used a canon sx220hs and used suction cup mount like Now the video(even though display is turned around the right way) films upside down,so on youtube it requires a 180o spin My fav is over stanage edge before ruined, was with Madison(6 at time ) and she was not happy at some parts, worth a watch if have time, stunnign views and yes.............on the edge!!! Many vids uploaded, wont bore with all i did, here are some This is peak district,my truck is 7ft 7" to top of crate so no easy task(after 2 mins) to get under a low branch..........had to climb up on side to get under(as can tell by Rach's expressions Play in the mud at wigan off road(wildor) From 5 mins, rach gives a mate whip lash(seriously) form taking a hill too fast ,driving his truck in front This is the boss taking the truck for a drive on aberdaron beach.........not allowed any more :( Up bamford Will leave it at that, but lots of vids on venn105 chanel Hopefully will get some subaru ones done :) Cheers ven :)
  21. All the best :)
  22. Very nice tidy example,i too like the oe look or in keeping B)
  23. As above, OAT only due to alloy ,mine is orange from subaru's last service. I bought some ready mixed coolant from halfords(on trade card so cheap) for any topping up...........not needed to since last October from buying car!!=happy me :) It had me fooled though!! I thought my water was rusty :o until i realised that the orange coolant looks like rust when dripped on plastic etc Not best of ideas as makes you think(well me anyway at 1st) that my system was corroded.............I even rang subaru again to double check on everything. The service chap said his looks the same but never went into detail. So later on is when i noticed the new coolant looked rusty when dripped on plastic!
  24. Car is stunning, lovely example B) Looked into the raptor as looks the mutts nuts ,but "maybe" too loud for me But i change my mind like the wind,so never say never
