  1. Nice to hear from you again - keep us updated with your progress and share some photos of your new motor when it arrives ;)
  2. That is a great price for the car and the work you have put in over the last few months
  3. I think from a breakers you would be looking at the grill as well, its not worth their time trying to separate the parts
  4. You can fit the tank and empty every so often or have a return to the sump - leaving the sump out is simpler and you can get tanks with level windows on the side to see how full its getting. TLag has done a breather system on his Legacy project build - has initially doubled up on the tanks but I dont think you would need to do that. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/3910-my-buildconversion-project/page-7
  5. If comfort is a priority is for you these units wouldnt have been, they were track orientated BC's - ER's I think
  6. pity you couldn't stretch the budget for the coil-overs a little as Fozzy had a primo set of near new BC's going a while back but they were £950 I think
  7. in the short term try changing the pads for some EBC red stuff as Salsa did - great pads with more bite also whilst you are considering the caliper change budget for some braided hoses as well
  8. def go for caliper - overheating can cause bearing damage but it normally over an extended period
  9. Jeez Bazza - what a shame after all you have been through with your motor sorry to hear that chum :(
  10. Wotcha and welcome - nice looking motor you have there - if I was you I would ring Subaru directly with the vin number get it from the horses mouth, they might even be able to generate a certificate for you?
  11. that is a tidy motor the light mods look great my 2p for the mods black mesh - yes splitter - keep it black wheels go anthracite rather than black as the black makes the rims look smaller

  13. Wotcha and welcome - feel free to get in amongst the forum, loads of info on here as well as some great advice - any questions you have just create a thread in the appropriate section that way it should get the appropriate visibility and hopefully response. No abuse on this site just friendly banter so dont worry about thinking the questions are daft and as Ash said dont be shy get the camera out ;)
  14. got you - ill bear it in mind when Im trawling the web see if one comes up elsewhere

  17. Looking at a few of the adds some of the diameters are larger than others might be worth getting the ruler out to be sure
