  2. ;) I felt like the chap in Mad Max II going for the boomerang - big fail
  3. there we go :)
  4. me to - just realised In put it in the Impreza section... two ticks...
  5. I have a feeling he did as well but couldnt be certain
  6. done
  7. thats true - its certainly one if there is a bit more money in the pot
  8. so yo have felt the potential :o
  9. match made in heaven - would you consider a ceramic finish instead of heat wrap??
  10. stick with 5w30 and millers is a good brand - if you are in any doubt contact Tim - (Oilman) for his recommendation or check the Opie oils recommendation site on ebay http://stores.ebay.co.uk/opieoils/pages/engine-oil-and-filter-service-kits
  11. I would do the reverse of what Farmerpug did just get standard shocks with STI springs - cant remember what he did with his - might be worth contacting him as he may have them to sell still - that way you get it lowered but have a reasonable ride
  12. ooooooohhhhh exciting times ahead :)
  13. its green in colour as its a coolant mix - not just water. There are not supposed to be any particles in it but I suspect someone has used radweld on it already. Have a look with a torch in the radiator itself see if it is coated with anything or just metal
  14. Looking good - and some off-roading there as well ;) the lights do look a lot better de-tangoed IMO so a simple but effective mod - dont worry about how long it takes, we have no plans for disappearing just yet :)
  15. Great stuff - like to see a nice progress and what members are doing to their pride and joy not heard of a scoobyrace tune - but then again I had no idea what a 'snorkus' was either so there you go :)
  16. yay they stock it at Opie oils as well :) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bilt-Hamber-Deox-Gel-Rust-Remover-Gelled-Corrosion-Remover-1000ml-bottle-/181229105982?pt=UK_Car_Accessories_Car_Care_Cleaning&hash=item2a3218b33e
  17. agreed that gel is something I will be investing in - the springs have come up well to - will be interesting to see how long they do last but powder coating springs is quite common particularly on bikes so I think they should last quite well
  18. Wotcha and welcome - that is a clean motor, typical JDM. The car does not look any higher to me they have proably been used to stiffen up the ride, reduce body roll. Farmerpug took the STI springs off his car that they cam with and raised it again with standard springs - the thread has good before and after shots http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/210-lifting-subaru-forester/
  19. check you vin plate to get the model code that will give a clearer idea of what engine you have in place
  20. Thanks for that Mr B - clearly got the wrong end of the stick with the diagrams
  21. I'd go for NGK iridium or R's like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-NGK-Spark-Plugs-for-Subaru-Impreza-Turbo-EJ20-1992-2000-BKR7EIX-IRIDIUM-2667-/230752649212?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Cars+Year%3A1999|Car+Make%3ASubaru|Model%3AImpreza&hash=item35b9edfffc
  22. Echo that JPS Lotus F1 paint job, iconic - I think with the alloys being gold as well it could work
  23. Thats a fair price - a recent MOT only cost me £50 - glad its all sorted
  24. funny - that would have definitely been worth recording :D
  25. I can so relate to this ;)
