  1. Im not sure if they are. I turned up to one and no one was there :(
  2. Cant wait to see that fitted mate!
  3. Thanks guys. I think I may go for a complete respray as the previous did the worst chip repair in living history and there are other minor issues. I also have found a lovely ChargeSpeed kit for the car which would need respraying.
  4. Guys & Gals, Does anyone know what the standard warranty is by Subaru on the paint? I have noticed that the lacquer has started to come away on the front skirt which shouldnt happen on a car only 7 years old....
  5. Great addition mate you should notice instantly the difference.... should feel more responsive now from 3000-5000 rpm
  6. You may get on with the N1 but i can see why the reviews online are what they are as its just stupid
  7. Dont Scooby World offer the additional centre pipe to make it a system? The other option is to get a Powerflow/Longlife exhaust as at least you can design around your own requirements. I had a longlife exhaust made for my Imp and it cost £150 for a silencer and associated pipework and fitting! I wont make the decision until after my holiday in September on what to do. I might just go to my local Powerflow dealer and ask them to make a new silencer section.
  8. At the moment I have put the bung in until I have had a chance to work out a feasible option as I am reluctant to buy another exhaust for £500 which makes the total system cost £1300 as i wont get my money back for the Invidia. Have you looked into the Hayward & Scott systems or ARK? If i do sell up you will be the first to know :)
  9. Thanks, it seems to have come on leaps and bounds and I only got the car 6 months ago :) Next up is getting the car mapped with last few supporting mods then its styling.
  10. Its too loud and I have received quite a number of complaints. The drone in the cabin is annoying after 15 minutes. I wish I had gone for the Cobra or H&S now! Good luck fitting the light, remember you have to remove all the trim first starting at the top working your way down.
  11. I got it off eBay but the seller said he had to import it from Japan. I have been looking for one for ages and they seem to pop up from time to time. They will pass if you put a red bulb which again you will have to get off eBay as no shops seems to stock them (well in Portsmouth anyway!)
  12. No I dont really like the overlays to be honest but each to their own! They are quite easy to fit, you need an 8mm socket with extension bar and you have to remove all the trim. Start by unclipping the trim around the top brake light, then remove the side pieces and then finally the bottom trim part. They are a bit stiff and you do need some force behind it but you shouldn't break the clips.
  13. Managed to get some progress pics taken off my phone! 14. Installed the clear fog on the hatch!
  15. I got mine on Friday off eBay.
  16. Pictures please and postage/collection etc.
  17. For me it would always be respray as paint lasts longer that what is basically a decal. I can see why people go for a wrap as its far cheaper plus it can be done in a day rather than a few weeks. each to their own though :)
  18. I believe the WRX S has slightly more power and STI styling (Apart from the fatter arches).
  19. You will need to factor in the price for a remap as the "Afterfire" is not a positive thing!
  20. So after months of umming and arring I decided that I would go ahead and change from the OEM recirc valve to a BoV/DV. I had read pretty much all the scare mongering reviews online so I was expecting the worst! I opted for the HKS over all the other brands as 1) I had used one before on my Starbo GTT and was highly impressed and 2) I was advised by a Subaru specialist that they have had hardly any engine issues with them. Anyway I ordered the part with the purple fin (I don't like the chirp from the silver fin you get in the box) and took the car to TGM, Fleet. So whats the car like after fitting..... well it certainly inst hesitant and it doesn't idle poorly like most people have said however there is only one issue which is it has caused a slight backfire in second and fifth gear after you let your foot of the accelerator after heavy boost. As the car is going in for a remap soon this should disappear with the new fueling set up. Over all i am highly satisfied and does exactly what it says on the tin without all the "reported" issues.... plus it goes swoosh now :P :P :P
  21. Its probably 3-6 weeks off. It all depends on how the testing goes. Im not 100% if the brakes are man enough or if the gearbox can take the extra 80+ bhp
  22. They are the radiator pipes. They are being covered so I cant burn myself :D It going to be very noisy even with that sound proofing!
  23. Its been awhile so I thought I would add some new pics now the front end is virtually finished! Exterior Interior
