  1. Photoshoot provisionally booked for Feb! Keep your eyes posted for PCC
  2. when i next go down the garage ill take one and post it
  3. I have never been in one but he said its great fun. The car is a road legal track car but ill mainly use it for fast A roads :)
  4. Yea it is an AX GT, my mechanic loves old school cars, he did own a mk1 106 Rallye.
  5. Thought I would post some new pics of Hilda now she pretty much done. Took her on a road test over Christmas and wow is she great to drive. Just a few little gremlins to resolve but shouldnt be too long now!
  6. Due to change in circumstances I will be looking at selling the Subaru in the very near future! I have no ideas on what its worth so can anyone help put a value on it (sensible). Current Spec: 2007 (57) Impreza WRX Hatchback WR Blue, 80500 miles but changing daily, full service history, MOT until October 2016 Usual WRX features such as climate control, xenon lamps, disc changer etc etc. Upgrades/Modifications: 18" Prodrive GT1 alloy wheels Vredstein tyres BC Racing Coilovers Stoptech upgraded discs, pads and braided lines (front and rear) Cosworth Panel Filter (needs changing at 90k) HKS SSQV 4 BoV Invidia N1 Street Exhaust Afterburner decats up and downpipes Racedynamix remap (277 bhp @ 350 torque) STI mats STI Spoiler (needs fitting but painted) STI grille (needs painting and fitting) All cars have bad points: Paint has signs of lacquer pealing on front skirt Paint has been touched up in places (before my ownership) and isnt quite perfect Rear diffuser/bumper has burnt and hole in diffuser thanks to the flames it spits out! Door pockets have paint damage but this is a known fault Door electric mirrors seem to stick when operating and not sure if a new motor is needed on both Drivers heated mirror doesnt wor, previous owner fitted incorrect motor Aircon needs redoing. I have spent a lot of money on this car and has been my pride and joy however I dont have the finances to keep it running as my daily and to fix the "niggles". This car is a beast and will put a smile on anyone's faces! It isnt for the faint hearted either and has embarrassed a few top end motors! Note that this car is stupidly loud, it pops and bangs like a !Removed! and spits some serious flames. as it has no CATs this will fail an MOT.
  7. I wouldnt expect to see costs past £500 for a cat back custom. Give Longlife a call at Basingstoke. They did my Hillman Imp with a custom exhaust and that was only £150 :)
  8. ok thanks for the advice
  9. its a bit weathered and i was told one is blocked hence why i now have a decat. to be honest if someone stole it it would do me a favour
  10. I was wondering what are they worth and who buys them as I have been given grief from the wife that the front of the house looks like a scrap parts store with my old system lying on the drive.
  11. Mini FB update! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...5342038&type=3 Its been a tough few months with the car. Had some "issues" with a bodyshop and long and short the bodywork wasnt repaired which has caused damage to my freshly painted car! I have also been tempted to sell the Scoob but thats for another thread :(
  12. I would second Duncan Graham!
  13. Great looking exhaust! Car has come on leaps and bounds!
  14. He goes to the 4wd rolling road centers. I had mine done by him at Surrey RR
  15. Duncan Graham at Race Dynamix! He travels the country so check his calendar on his website to see when hes in your local area. He tuned my WRX hatch and he was awesome! Couldnt fault the service and advice
  16. I have cut the melted bumper away from the exhaust!
  17. Hi and welcome to the club! If you take the cats off you WILL need to remap the car. I would say the easiest way would be go to Powerflow or Longlife and get yourself a performance exhaust made as i have not seen an off the shelf option for the 1.5's.
  18. I have got quotes from them for parts but they couldnt get what i wanted in time. Only heard good things though from people who have brought from them. Also try RHDJapan.
  19. Guys try Japanparts.com as i think they list the 2015 sti now and they can get Chargespeed :)
  20. Ill get it scanned in tomorrow, I went with the Scooby World Afterburner (both decat up and down pipes). I think Hayward & Scott make them
  21. Even at 267.7 it was an animal...... The thing is when you know you have that under the bonnet you just let people crack on! He said that 277 is really as much as the OEM turbo can take on the hatch WRX. Least i know i can destroy an STI :D :D :D :D
  22. So today had proved that paying a bit extra for better quality fuel is worth while! Duncan Graham remapped car with same mods and running V Power and its made 277.4bhp @ 345lb torque. estimated sub 5.0's for 0-60.
  23. This car is boss! Great progress keep up the work :D
  24. I own a HKS SSQV4 and I have nothing but praise for it! It does its job and it doesnt appear to have caused the engine limp which some DV's cause. If you fit one expect to have a loud banging out your exhaust
  25. Car booked back in with Duncan Graham as he thinks he can get more out of the car We are aiming for the high 280's on Friday which would make it beastly!
