  1. Upto you mate what you think is value of course but def don't worry about power etc, won't make any difference if your only taking the back section out
  2. If they are just cutting and running straight pipes for that money forget it. I got my Jag back box deletes from rear axle done for £170! If it include some sports boxes then ok but still on upper limit!
  3. There's not going to be any power loss. The only thing will be the change in tone/noise. £450 is a lot of money though! I'd expect for that money you'd easily get dual back boxes and choice of tails. Who's quoting?
  4. It's only going to come down to noise. If your keeping the rest stock ie cats then no worries about back pressure and even then it's an interesting debate Ok mines not a 2.5 but ran full decats and only a relative small back box for a good time with no issue. I still run decat and only small back box on secondary.
  5. Are you talking about just removing the back boxes in favour for straight pipes?
  6. Just saved £90 on my insurance renewal .
  7. I've just got my ticket on the Beaulieu website. You just print it off ready. I'm sure we'll all meet somewhere before hand. Wait see what Ian says.
  8. Ill be going up the A509 but not sure if you'd come across that way?
  9. Pulled the birthday card! Its a good show so def worth going either way.
  10. I guess the maf has no air flow being drawn through it so engine cuts. The mesh over the maf intake stops you from using an extended nozzle too? Hopefully someone has done this before and can offer better advice.
  11. Sad showing feel for you @dgarside. I was down for it originally but when it moved it was just that bit to far which was a shame as its the only big car specific show Ill miss this year. I did post ages ago to pull out though. Glad the day was still good for you, congrats on the trophy, car looked top! and pleased your sticking around
