  1. My boy has bought it over this weekend so I'll be giving it a whirl
  2. I don't know which way I'd go tbh. With the grills and splitter it suits the black but colour coded would look good too.
  3. Actually dont look out of place with the black grill etc.
  4. Got the car back with all new suspension, discs, pads, studs and nuts. Drives nicely from the short trip Ive had. Brakes are definitely not as sharp though but thats cool. In on the 31st for all the body work . Only thing left after that is the zorst to sort and a full wheel alignment set up job.
  5. And fingers crossed I'll be fetching it later . Cant wait to see how she rides! I don't mind it hard but...
  6. We spend a lot of money on premium fuel, seems daft not to make sure its getting in right!

    Wrapping

Just to echo previous, you do need to tell insurance about any decals/stickers. Im loving the grey and orange contrast!
  8. Cant say I did either, just did it for peace of mind really.
  9. Welcome! Very tasty!!
  10. When I sent mine off they showed a decent improvement on the before/after test. Cant remember where I put the results now though.
  11. Went to see the car today. The latest delivery of shocks sound promising, they look right length and have brackets! Was off the ramps so can see the rear ride height.
  12. Welcome! It only gets better
  13. If everything invloved is pre 2005 your golden re stud question. From what I can make out of your wheels you might have issues with clearance if you went down Brembo route. I have what look to be the same and they catch. Could resolve with a 4mm spacer though if your not planning on buying new wheels 😁
  14. If you can get the brembos for £500 including good discs and pads and they are indeed good then that's a good deal. You just don't want to get them and have to replace pads and discs within a 500 miles really. What year is the STI they are off?
  15. You could blow the whole budget on some Brembo calipers but wouldn't have anything for discs and pads. Best would be a refurb of existing calipers and some nice new discs and pads + the braided hoses Jay mentioned.
  16. Welcome! Clean looker. Is it just upgrading for road use or are you planning track days?
  17. Cone filter?
  18. Welcome! I would agree with Scoobyghost and suggest best starting point it to put it all back to stock (get rid of manual bc) and start from there.
  19. Welcome! Honda guy a....... lol you'll see... All good banter. Blob is a great Soob to look for. First thing would be what sort of budget do you have?
  20. Got a cracking gear knob lol. It's not quite at breaking stage yet but at this rate who knows!! No worries
  21. Welcome!
  22. Been a while! So Pedders sent me the wrong suspension AGAIN!!!! Outback shocks this time. They have sent out what we hope is the right set of front shocks today (third time lucky) but garage wont be able to fit me in till end of next week. The new set are a 'sports' shock but the backs are only listed as a 'standard' shock so no idea what its going to drive like. Pedders have said if its not right they will have it at theres and sort it one way or another. Booked it in at the body shop for the 31st Oct assuming that Ive managed to get it back on the !Removed! road by then!!
  23. Went to see my car on the ramps, where its been forever! Pedders have sent out a second round of wrong shocks! This time for an Outback. We wondered why they where so long.
  24. I'd say his fella has more likely just sat on it
