  2. Leakage test might give you more info.
  3. Give it a big cuddle and tell it you'll be back before it knows it. Seriously should be fine. Maybe leave in handbrake on light as needed. I don't leave cars in gear so not sure of that one. Give is a good hardshell wax maybe too.

  8. Haha haha I bet there was a bit more thought on the mot report especially given the pics you have to support it.
  9. Welcome! I've not used a removal kit before myself but yes you would def need new lockers once you've got them off. Then you can choose what ones you want. I'd go for someone like mcgard, this is what I have.
  10. Classic line! Think your right though, just crack on (no pun intended) and enjoy.
  11. Welcome! Nice car and colour! Def worth keeping hold of and keeping up to scratch. Let us know how you get on with the work
  12. Yeah but the £40 is now an investment and long term saving . In the last 2 weeks I have spent approx £200 on various car care items but it will last along time.......I !Removed! hope!
  13. Be worth getting others opinions but it would be a def yes from me. This is a copy off a different thread that sums it up neatly. "Semi-synthetic is the basic choice, a good enough oil to give an okay level of protection. The full synthetic is a better lubricant that will give better protection to the engine. Even if the engine is standard, the better synthetic oil will provide more protection"
  14. Get the semi out of it David and put some 5 40 or 10 40 full synthetic in.
  15. Certainly easier to live with!
  16. Not many I think is the answer Not a car I've ever seen on general road travel. Nearly bought one from your area recently but missed out.
  17. There are usually a few being broken on eBay at least.
  18. I was expecting a call and just got an email to fill in a form and return. Basically doing the work for them and it's for both my cars.
  19. Yep let's hope it does next year.
  20. Cosworth are good. I've used STI which is a lot more money but also the ramair which is around £15 cheaper than cosworth. All very good depending on your budget.
  21. Gonna have to bail out of this one, just that bit too far now it's moved.
  22. Hi, Can you please put some pics up. Will you be changing oil, coolant etc to show it running? What work do you think it needs?
