Hi both, thanks for your replies. David, are you talking about the Legacy or Forester? I am tempted by the Legacy, he is wanting £2700 but I see no reserve so who knows. I would not want to pay that. I cant see it being that popular. I am not sure at the moment though. In many respects I would prefer an estate to a saloon although think it looks nice.

Had my Forester serviced by Tim Farmer today. Great job as always. Cam belt and full service done. Just as well as damaged cam belt because of poor previous fit. Did however highlight rear near side bearing and drive hub will need replacing asap as lots of play. Now need to find both for a fair price.

Tried removing some scratches from the rear bumper but no luck. Need a bumper/boot protector thing. Any idea where I could find one? Tim Farmer coming round tomorrow to service and do belts etc.

No idea I am afraid and neither was the dealer close to me. They were also trying to sell me a current model Forester though. No chance from my Mrs. Pretty nice, damn big compared to my old forester.

I had an Impreza estate before my Forester. I nice classic one as pictured in my avatar. Money will go a lot further with the Legacy and its a fair bit bigger meaning better for a young family. I am a big chap as well meaning I prefer a bigger car. Still like Impreza estates but like the understated look. Jay, my Mrs would see that as chavving it up. I have messaged the guy asking a few simple questions. Advert seems to indicate it was an insurance write off. No idea how this effects things in reality.

I live in Cambridgeshire so both equally far sorry to say. I would be prepared otherwise to let you have a drive etc. Just to far. I use Shell V Power in mine and I only do low mileage I put a tank in full which gives me normally just under 250 miles. Cost of that tank is around £58 depending on where I get my fuel. I find servicing fine if you find an independent specialist but like stants says, this can be reduced if you can work on it yourself for minor service. All other costs are regular costs like any other car. I shopped around a lot for insurance and it was worth it. I had an Impreza before the Forester. I prefer the Forester in just about every way although both great cars. Impreza was a classic. Maybe enquire about one you like the look of first if no one is local to you with one. They are not a hugely common car.

I own a 2005 Forester XT. 2.5 turbo with the PPP kit. It runs well and I enjoy the car. I have a reputable local specialist look after mine. Got a full service on Good Friday at my home. This is full service including belts for under £500. Will cost more for anything unseen. Subaru will cost double this though. I don't work on mine but great car, fun, comfy and able in the winter. Good luck in finding a nice one, certainly some out there. I am miles away from Liverpool so cannot help.

Is this show not such a popular one? Looking for show's that are family friendly. As in some trade stands or events for kids and Mrs to look at etc.

Yeah, £240 cheapest repair quote so far. That is with meshing out the rear of the bumper, fill and make good. This seems to be a pain for me, not the first time it has cracked. No idea how I or Mrs did it. Of course, it is bound to be the Mrs.

Hi all, got a crack in the lower part of my Foresters bumper. Not the first crack to appear, had one repaired a little while back. No idea how it happened. Should I have this one repaired which will be £240. or consider a new bumper/lower bumper part. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.

I have a PS4 and like the sound of Division. Is there much of a following on here? Is it cross platform? If there are a few that play I will join in on anygame. Spend loads of time on the PS4 and love multiplayer with good guys.
