  1. I do still have it but I'm trading it for something on Saturday so it's as good as sold. Sorry
  2. Soon to have 4 new toyo proxes T1r tyres on. Getting them fitted in the next few days.
  3. Yeah £6k. Didn't realise I could edit the post rather than just comment 0:-). Yeah not bad. Ideally want to stay with Jap cars though. You got one for sale? 3dr or 5dr?
  4. Will look out for this around Cambridge
  5. Alternatively the Cobra exhausts don't cost a fortune: http://cobrasport.com/index.php/cobra-sport-exhaust/subaru/impreza/subaru-impreza-wrx-turbo-hatchback/impreza-wrx.html
  6. Off topic but I am liking that sti spoiler on those perrin risers. Must do that to mine.
  7. how much will you take for them?
  8. I just bought it on ebay for about £75 i think. It was a new genuine subaru part and came with an sti badge on (which i removed) although I don't recognise it as an sti grille so not sure what year it is. The car looks better with it on so I won't sell it seperately sorry.
  9. bump and price drop to £6500
  10. So unfortunately my circumstances have changed and I must now sell my beloved impreza :(. I bought the car in December from Cambridge Subaru but now my girlfriend wants us to get a house and I'm having to do more miles for work and don't want to pile the miles on this. Subaru Impreza WRX 2.5 turbo 4wd 56000 miles with mostly Subaru service history - serviced bu Subaru 8 times since new. MOT december 2016 Very good condition minor modifications: Perrin foam panel filter Perrin short shift 2nd cat delete, still has main cat fitted for MOT and emissions (have original part) Team Heko wind deflectors Subaru sport grill (still have original chrome grille) Rear chrome panel and lights plastidipped black (can be peeled off if new owner prefers original) Rear wiper and motor removed (have parts and can be easily refitted) Oil and filter done at 55555 (odd I know but that's honestly the mileage it was on when I did it). Genuine subaru filter and Gulf competition oil. Will have 4 new Toyo proxes T1r tyres fitted next week (01/08). £6000 Could be interested in a part ex with cash my way for something like a civic/integra type r or mk3 mx5. Or something else sporty for circa £6k.
  11. Anyone know if these will go on a wrx hatchback without too much work?
  12. Hi guys The wrx is due a service soon and I want to stick a new set of plugs in there. What would you guys recommend? It is currently mostly standard but will be a full decat exhaust and remap before the end of the year if that makes a difference.
  13. How much for the Cobb exhaust as well? is it a cat back?
  14. Ok cool, If you see someone in a wrx hatch wave at you that'll be me.
  15. Nice impreza, will be watching this build thread. where abouts in cambs are you mate? I'll look out for you
  16. Subaru Boxing Club
  17. I'm liking reading how everyone has progressed through cars to a scooby. As mentioned before theres plenty of cars on people's lists that I'd like to own at one point as a project, especially a GTiR or mk2 escort. My list is as follows in order: Mk4 fiesta 1.25 Saxo VTS MG ZS 180 saloon 1986 Austin mini 1380cc MB6 civic vti Honda CBR600f Suzuki GSXR750 K1 RX8 231 Rev3 MR2 turbo Jaguar X-type Clio 172 1989 eunos roadster E36 328 sport MG ZS 180 hatchback MY08 Impreza WRX hatchback (current car)
  18. my 2008 hatchback wrx usually gets about 26mpg (around 260-270 miles) average per tank, although my drive to work is half stop start through towns. Drove up to the lake district (from cambridge) recently with the mrs and averaged 33mpg(330 ish miles).
  19. No its the same height it sits a bit further forward though.
  20. The perrin kit from tarmac sports comes with poly bushes for the front of the linkage. Is that what you mean?
  21. So I went with the Perrin adaptor. Fitted it yesterday, took about 45mins and I didn't break any plastic trims so thats a bonus. Its adjustable up to a 50% reduction in throw (which is where i have set mine to) and it has massively improved the feel of my gear changing now :D. standard: With adaptor:
  22. I'll be following this as I'll be in the same boat later this year.
  23. yes yould could say that. I will see if I can find a photo of them bolted to the hub.
  24. I recommend these guys http://randr-alloys.co.uk/wheel-accessories/adaptor-plate They will make hubcentric spacers to any spec with the correct flange wheel side for to locate your wheels on. They made some 40mm spacers for my old MX5 and they were beautiful.
