  1. Hi all, need some help need to know the permitted valve stem to valve guide clearance on my 2006 b25 sti heads, just can't find it anywhere

  9. Been up my pals engineering shop today, gonna get them to drill out the heads, have ordered supertech stem seals, so best I get some valve lappage going on soon 🙂

  13. Got a 1 metre square sheet of 1.5mm ally for the bonnet scoop 😜 So may have a little play with that the weekend

  15. I've got my heads stripped down ready for a refurb, anyone know how/where to get them cleaned to get all the carbon and cr-ap off of them 🙂
  16. Repaired sump and put that on and stripped heads down ready for cleaning, valves lapping, oil ways and oil restrictor cleaning and stud holes drilled out to 14.2mm for the head studs
  17. The KB one apparently has 3x the wall thickness and is bent properly unlike the bend in the oem
  18. 🙂👍 I saw somewhere that someone was double tubing the area prone to failure
  19. Lols, I was gonna brace my oem one up that I've had in the car a couple of months, but I got a sticker with the killer b one hahaga
  20. No mate, no track work or any fast road really, as I mostly don't drive like a tit anymore just want something to give me that grin factor when I ever stamp on the loud pedal and to be reliable
  21. I think it's cos they are guaranteed not to break like the oem ones, it does seem steep for a pick up tube, but they are very well made and are made/welded by hand by the look of it, I just couldn't have the worry of an oem one breaking and ruining my engine, it's a big leap from £36 oem to £175 for this but I had to have one to sleep better at night 😆
