  1. Yep, not disputing any of that scoobs, as I'm none the wiser myself, just pointing out the two main protagonists standings regarding clinic specifically
  2. Any idea who mapped it, and yes could be messed up by any mapper on a bad day, we all have em edit, or did you mean, any way it could have got messed up at some later date after mapping, as in something out of kilter
  3. I will just step in here to put a leveller in this thread, Tidgy is very pro clinic, he has had a lot of good work done there and knows the guys well, kershaw 330 is pretty much anti clinic and likes to jump on them whenever he can, as far as I know has had no dealings with clinic himself (I wait to be put right if he has) I'm not saying who's right or wrong, just informing you of the two sides
  4. Does it sound anything like a hoover, or is it a proper whine, don't know if your year has it, but it could be the secondary air pump for the emissions, they run for about 30 seconds at start up to make the cats more efficient on cold start and they are a mahoosive pain in the a-ss
  5. The "scoop" is comin on nicely lol
  6. I know they aren't exactly engine bits, but had to have em 🙈
  7. As long as it's got a 2 tonne caravan attached..... looow n sloooow...
  8. Tbh, if you read enough, all makes of coilover are rubbish unless you pay 2 grand, it's the same ole thing, people say bc are great, people say they are rubbish, same with tein, and tbh, same with toyo tyres, induction kits, blow off valves etc etc etc..... @Tidgy, pedders emailed me, they've just finished the wagon specific kit, just not up on their site yet
  9. I'm a chicken wire and chewing gum type of tight ar-se, but I would not use a second hand fuel pump unless from a mate with useage known, if it runs your car lean on boost your in big trouble just my personal opinion 👍
  10. Ok, so now at bout 350 miles, tyres started to settle down from about 250 miles, much less movement and more grip the more I drove it, I presume there is more to come, but as they are now, they are as grippy as hell, noticeably better than the potenza and michelins they replaced and a pretty decent drive, have purchased a set of bc br coilovers, so will get them fitted and a full geo set up, already got the 24r 22f arb's fitted and updated droplinks
  11. is it the C frame or the actual subframe that mounts the steering rack

    Nice pair!

    Knew you'd like that 😂
  13. Just need to listen to see if it's front or back
  14. it's a driver side bearing then, wheel bearing are more noisy when you load them up in a sweeping bend/corner, quieten right down when you unload them in a corner

  19. Anyway, cmon, it's all been said before so let's knock it on the head eh 👍
  20. Brand new maf, o2 sensor, plugs, throttle body, air filter etc etc etc BEFORE mapping by duncan car was mapped at 69k by previous owner, generic flash map, I presume a maf not at its best at that mileage, i had it mapped at about 100k roughly with all the new bits on Car has been running properly since the intake was fitted
  21. Thought I better clear this one up, the problem all along turned out to be maf scaling, disconnecting the avcs just masked the fuelling issues and made it look like an avcs problem, I presume my car was either mapped for an intake at some point and then put back to standard before I bought it, or because it was fist mapped at 69k (roughly) the maf may have been well past its best, and as I had fitted a brand new maf it had thrown it all out, I'm not going to get into any more mud slinging, suffice to say, my car now has a good make inner wing cold air intake fitted, holds boost correctly, runs like a champ, fuel trims are now where they should be, does not pull timing and has not gone into limp mode since this was fitted, probably a couple of months ago now, so my problem was down to a poor map
  22. Got one off matty at me developments in the end 👍
