  1. Oooh loves a wagon me !!
  2. Any ideas where to get my car set up, portsmouth or surrounding areas 👍
  3. Any ideas where to get to the geo done down portsmouth area
  4. Will give it another good check bush wise mate, check all the ar-se end bushes vigorously, I think geo is the next thing, just did a camber check 3 times just to be sure
  5. Anyone local that could possibly meet up and swap my wheels and tyres onto their car and theirs onto mine to see what's going on with these tyres ?? Preferably a new age ? Thanks in advance if you can
  6. You do seem to have a few selling "problems".....
  7. So been lookin at a pedders easy fit kit, do they they do a kit for my wagon, it seems that fitting v groove directional tyres will highlight any suspension or geometry problems you have going on, and my car was feeling randomly flaky before I changed the tyres on a side note, the wife did say to me last night, why is everything you do a rigmarole, but she pronounced it ... marigamarole lol
  8. Here we go again...............🙈
  9. Well seems I may have got to the bottom of it, toyo t1r are highly recommended by people for use in a race car or a classic scooby, (lighter cars) , but apparently are an absolute no no to fit to the heavier newage scoobs as the sidewalls are not designed to work too good with the heavier car 🤔
  10. What am I looking for here, cracked rubber ? feels like it's the ar-se end floating around tbh
  11. Lols, did the standard pressures and worked my way up, tyres are grippy in the corner so they must have bedded in enough, it's gotta be a car issue, just gotta try and find what exactly, just got the wife to drive it and do a quick double direction change and even she felt it, up until that point she was just saying I'm mental lol, it actually feels dangerous to me, these new tyres have exacerbated what was already going on, are these gas shocks ? Would I see a leak of any description ? Will check strut tops and stuff, can't see anything wrong underneath, need a forum member to drive it to appreciate what I'm saying really
  12. Maybe mate, didn't seem to move much with a little pry bar, will change them anyway, have not hit any kerbs or anything at all @Seminole81, I've put the front arb on, no difference really, dropped the rear bar down to its lowest rating on the back which seemed to help a bit, it's just got a really odd feeling like its floating go around on the sidewalls when you change direction, have put 40osi in all round, better but still not right, could this really be new tyres break in period ??, oh forgot to say, it's fine in a straight line and grippy in the corner, but it's the sloppy feeling as you make a direction change that's nasty
  13. Well, have had 4 new toyo proxes t1r fitted, car feels !Removed! awful, feels like driving a blancmange, doesn't feel connected to the road at all, I'm hoping this is down to new tyres needing breaking in ? And maybe I have my rear arb set too hard, feels like the rear is gonna switch round on me if I give it a quick direction change twice, have only driven for bout 2 miles so far, got a 24 on the back set to the middle hole and a standard one on the front, gonna put the 22 on the front tomoz, have a look at the steering rack mounts (new ones ordered), and maybe have a fiddle with the camber lol, an alignment check is in the pipeline once all checks out, just feels so vague it's shocking
  14. Cheers fellas, @Seminole81, mine does it driving in a straight line, it's gotten worse, feels like steering not connected to road at times, first part of turn in feels horrible and vague, tbh it's got 2 worn micelins on one side, and two half decent potenza on the other, one potenza is a run-flat, so has a stiffer sidewall than all the others lol, time for new rubber
  15. The steering in my car can only be described as completely and utterly vague, to the point of feeling unsure of the car, it pulls about all over the place a bit too, have ordered 4 new tyres and a set of uprated steering rack mounts, if that don't sort it it'll be new spenshun 😳 And I do fancy coilovers, so probs bc jobbies
  16. Lol, that's that then 😝
  17. Does that link work ?
  18. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222469614706
  19. Basically a guy selling "drift" coilovers on eBay, they look pretty nice, anyone heard of them, from Australia ? also he seems to think the hawkeye sti and hawkeye wrx fitment are the same coilover ? They do have adjustable tops
  20. trying to get a link that works 😳
  21. Did you go for an uprated oil pick up tube or a new standard jobbie mate
  22. Oh, and the bonnet scoop is nearly finished, probs gonna have it satin black 🤔
  23. Heads are actually still at machine shop having stud holes drilled out to 14.2mm, then off to have a small skim, next thing will be a set of supertech valves and collets, and then do valve clearances and get heads on, then we will get onto oil pump, cam belt, clutch, turbo 😳
