Check those standard Pistons with a fine tooth comb mate, make sure you don't have any hairline cracks on the ringlands

Dibs hahaha, tbh if it was me putting in water spray on the intercooler I would just fit a tank, pump and a push button same as the one I have for the washers squirters on my ole camper, press the button and it squirts, simples, I just would have no idea when to use it or don't think I would even need it at 277hp lol, but I just like gadgets 😋

Ok mate, I had a little read up and tbh it looks like it's one of the less problematic codes, as in, in general if it actually is cat efficiency as perceived by the sensor or even the rear sensor, it shouldn't actually impact on the running of your car edit:- although I'm basing all this on what I've read about turbo wrx mostly, but spose yours is the same really

I think they have a water system where the intercooler has some nozzles or a spray bar ( I think it's nozzles) that when a button is pressed in the cockpit it sprays water over the intercooler to maybe reduce heat soak ?? You'd have to read up on it or maybe mr b or someone could chime in as I'm not really sure how good it is or when to use it

Is p0420 something to do with the rear cat efficiency or summat, if so I had that one about once every 3 weeks, I think an exhaust leak before the rear sensor can cause it

Had a prodrive back box, bought a Chinese 2.5 rear box (really good quality tbh), cut the prodrive box off and welded the Chinese one on and put brackets on, just thought this was a cheap ninja so worth getting

Problem there is mate, you just have no idea what your getting, at the very least with these 2.5 engines you would have to have the Pistons out to check for ringland issues just to have piece of mind
