  1. Just found out how to upload photos (hopefully) and found a pic of my old blob after a stag deer jumped out of a hedge and onto my bonnet at about 50mph
  2. Sorry I can't help with this, how has it panned out ?
  3. Subscribed, as I have the same two issues lol
  4. Any idea if it will fit my 07 hawkeye wrx
  5. Is this still for sale
  6. I had one on my sapphire cosworth just wired up in the boot with a switch, spat good old flames on the overrun and maybe(can't remember for certain) between gears, but didn't give any flames under power
  7. I've been having huge issues with my hawk pulling timing all over the place (hopefully fixed now). And it defo changed the note of the exhaust dramatically, but then I had an IAM of 0, fbkc of -11.25 and flkc of -5.5 happening all at once lol
  8. Awesome !! been following this from the beginning, glad you got it sorted mate
  9. Is there a possibility that this kit is making the car pull timing due to messing with the afr (my 03 wagon did it) that would account for the sluggishness and different exhaust note
  10. On order :) gonna fit it and then look at getting the tune I think I need
  11. Jeez dude, you having problems big time, hope that cures it, find it a bit hard to imagine it will as car should defo be hot when mapping I would have thought, fingers crossed ! Ps , mine randomly pulled -9.75 degrees of timing today in the FLKC and dropped IAM to .5 then just went back up to 1 within about a mile, !Removed! cars lol
  12. Wtf ! All covered on warranty I hope... welcome mate 👍
  13. Thanks mate
  14. Hi guys n gals, could somebody tell me where I can buy a genuine oem pcv valve (the one that screws into the rear of the throttle body) for my 07 hawkeye wrx in good old Blighty thanking you muchly
  15. Bugger ! Least it's being fixed now tho.. usualy a split top pipe is sign HG has gone unless the cars real old and the pipes are perished, the HG problem could have split the pipe or your rad cap could have caused it all if you were loosing coolant without knowing, shouldn't be long off the road tho 😕
  16. Are you logging it with romraider to see what cylinder/s misfire
  17. Is it an actual misfire or is the boost jumping around
  18. Any news boon ?
  19. No mate, been stupid busy tbh this weekend, I think I will probs leave it with him as not being able to get hold of people when you want/need them really isn't my bag, I'm the sort of person that texts someone and can't understand why they haven't text back within 3 minutes lol
  20. Thank ze lord :) !! @akafonzie, I've not got a manual in paper form and to be honest I didn't even think to look in there for bleeding the system :-/ I had major issues with my car after an engine out and head off job, and basically crapped myself when I test drive the car and the needle spiked into the red, thought I had put it back together with head gasket in wrong or something, went through a mental picture of doing it and realised I hadn't so googled my problems and found the burping scenario, apparently highly regarded for those cars that just won't bleed, which mine may not have been as I didn't realise there was another way lol, anyway it turned out good for me so thought I would pass it on , peace and love ❤️
  21. Just reread my post, when you Rev it up to 2500 do it like 5 or 6 times each time you do it then back to squeezing, best of luck mate
  22. I had loads of trouble with mine, firstly I would wonder why it split, if your happy that it wasn't an underlying problem like head gasket failure then you need to burp it, basically what I had to do after much research, is this jack the car up at the front as high as you can possibly get it, fill up with coolant in the rad then put cap back on, then fill through the tank that's near your abs pump (that extra little tank with a rad cap on), then you need to get a bottle (bottom cut off)or a funnel and make it fit Into that tank nice and snug with no leaks so that basically you can fill up the funnel/bottle so that the water level is a good 6-8 inches higher than the actual tank with a few inches spare at the top of bottle/funnel for expansion and for when you squeeze the hoses, then you need to mostly fill up that bottle and run your car maybe for a good 20 minutes maybe 30 or 40 depending on how long it takes for your themostat to open, so probably 20 mins after its opened and the car should be fully burped (keep an eye on temp gauge), squeezing hoses like a madman (watch out for spinning engine components, belts and pulleys etc), in between the hose squeezing you need every 3 or 4 mins, to rev your car up and down to 2500 rpm and maybe hold it at 2500 for a few second here and there, then straight back to squeezing hoses, keep an eye on the funnel/bottle, so that the level doesn't go down to far, you can also see the bubbles coming up in there (if it's clear plastic) , if your car doesn't have another problem then this should burp it, you must get it as high as you can on the jack tho hope this helps (hope your car has the tank by the abs pump lol )
