If you stick you exterior lights on and try the cars horn it should tell you if car battery is no good as horn will be weak as **** sounding

I would look at car battery first

So to recap/update, got absolutely no joy with Duncan , car still ! not right, but yesterday was reimbursed in full by barclaycard after lodging a claim for goods not as described, so this 7 month sorry saga is at an end and I can now pay someone else to map the car

And also after a reset the car is prone to read knock for a period of time as it gets everything back where it should be

Thing is, as your car has probably adjusted itself over a period of time to try and offset the weakening wastegate, tightening it up without resetting the ecu will probs put a lot of things out of sync, I would adjust the wastegate and reset then try each time you make an adjustment

Have you reset your ecu after each adjustment of the wastegate
