How bad has it gone ? Is it just pressurising the water hoses a bit with no adverse effects in running and only using a little bit of water, or is it fully knackered, blowing out coolant/mixing coolant with oil, smoking, rough running etc

No mate, no steering issues as such, just a horrible feeling of being the car being disconnected from the road, next to no feedback/feeling from the front, really light feeling steering almost as tho the power steering pump was workin to much, and a horrible wallowy ride, it crept up on me over the period of 6 months I recko, maybe more, gradually getting more vague, funny tho, if you drove over some sticky tarmack or shell grip it felt fine again...... speed humps fine as not gone too low, just gotta take them a bit slower tho 👍

Also, check for any obvious water leaks, especially check the clip on the bottom rad hose where it fixes onto the rad

Sounds like an air lock to me as that's what mine did, but you need to lose water to get one, although could be numerous thing, check overflow bottle level, check to see if the top hose is pressurising after a drive, and when car starts getting hot check to see if the bottom hose to the rad is hot or cold

Sorry mate, missed your post somehow for me the ride is exactly how I hoped it would be, tight and hard'ish, next to no body roll in corners (24/22mm arb's and uprated droplinks also fitted) but still compliant enough to be comfortable, the wife says that her ti-ts will be about 3 feet long after a drive round the countryside cos it's bouncing them around a lot more lol, there is no crashing and banging and car feels glued to the road tbh, before I put them on I was having major handling issues with the car that had gotten worse over the last 6 months, I can only assume that my standard shocks were toast

Yeah, that was the only little concern with it tbh, Gonna give it a week or so then put the back up a bit as don't wanna go any lower on front, the back has settled a bit more now I think

Fitted them this afternoon and given a 30mm drop all round, I think it looks great.......... opinions ? 🙈

I jacked rear up today with diff, was a revelation !Exactly ! ......Both my front side skirt jackin points have been squashed and pushed up a bit at the front, I presume from someone using a trolley jack with no rubber on the lifting plate, so be careful how and with what you jack it up thereCorrected....... I am stood .......I'm gonna do this on my build, they are defo a restriction of that there is no doubtI would rather take my engine out again than try and do this with it in the car, I attempted it once and bottled it lolI am pretty sure you shouldn't jack on the rear diff due to the strain it puts on the rubber diff mounts, I stand to be corrected, but when I tried it I didn't like the amount of movement the diff did before it lifted the carI don't think he actually did/ever had one tbh, the photo was generic, and from what I've heard from other disgruntled "hook" victims, is that, it was a scam run by the Chinese mafia, and that "shae po ling" ... (matts real name), and his cohort "Juan han glo" (Spanish/Chinese descent) are kickin it on the costa with their ill gotten gains..... just what I heard...Welcome aboard 👍
