  1. Been a couple of times now. It is incredibly fun and incredibly scary all at the same time. I was constantly worrying about crashing or blowing the engine up because it is a long way to walk home!!
  2. Go for orange! I love my orange wheels. :D
  3. This still has the factory standard HID's in too.
  4. Thats very clean. I think the wagon shape looks odd without any rear spoilers.
  5. Welcome to the Forum. Get some pictures up. ;)
  6. Welcome to the forum, sorry i've not had any experience with a Subaru diesel yet.
  7. If you heat wrap it I would recommend some titanium heat wrap. It is more expensive, but the cheaper stuff goes brittle and flakes off after a while.
  8. Lol, I've just responded to you on another forum.
  9. Aye aye, i will indeed! :)
  10. Yay!!! Nurburgring!!! :D oh yeah and well done getting it through the MOT.
  11. Welcome, get some pics up :)
  12. Mechanically all it does is counter the affect of the flexing bulkhead. So when pressing the brake pedal, the point at which the pedal stops and you are fully on the brakes is higher up. (if that makes sense). It gives a better feel but doesn't reduce the stopping distance.
  13. I've Just found a picture of mine after painting and fitting. It is the Tegiwa item but the bright blue would have looked a bit out of place in my engine bay so I painted it matt black before fitting. It's also a bit of pain to fit in the twin turbo's due to the solenoid box you can see on the left. I had to cut away some of the case and file it to the profile of the brake stopper to give a neat finish.
  14. This was one of the first mods I did to improve the brakes on my Legacy. It made a noticeable difference to the feel on the brake pedal, however, it didn't make any difference to the braking ability. The braided lines again made a small difference to the feel of the brakes. But the biggest difference was when I changed the brake servo and master cylinder. I bought these from a Hawkeye Impreza STI. This almost completely removed the spongy feel on the pedal and really increases confidence in the braking ability.
  15. Welcome, Get some pics up. You won't be disappointed with a Legacy, absolutely fantastic car! But then I am slightly biased!
  16. Welcome, I'm not a fan of those wheels but the rest of the car looks lovely and clean. B)
  17. Oh yeah, I also have a reversing camera. That helps with precision manoeuvres. :)
  18. If your 5 speed is a 754 box then it'll handle 330bhp no problem.
  19. Mine is the legal limit on the fronts and I think it's 70% round the back. This was particularly difficult to reverse at night until I replaced my reverse bulbs with Cree bulbs. This makes life so much easier. :)
  20. Yes it is the Pegasus Bridge. There is a small cafe right next to it where we stopped for coffee and a sandwich. While sat there we were lucky enough to see it in action. :) Yeah thats the trip we were on when Fifth Gear were looking for a Legacy unfortunately, but we have the wrong generation, So we wouldn't have been much help anyway.
  21. It was a very educational trip and I didn't realise the scale of it all until I did this trip. If any of you are interested in learning more about the war then I highly recommend visiting all the D-day war memorial sites. It really was an eye opener for me.
  22. I know none of these are eligible for the competition but here is a pic of my car on a trip I did with some friends recently, who also own Legacy's, whereby we visited a lot of the D-day war memorial sites in France. Here are some pics of the memorial sites we visited.
  23. I agree it might be a battery on its way out. When stationary at night can you see your lights getting brighter and dimmer with the rpm if you rev it? Might also be worth buying or making an earthing kit to improve the cars electrical system. I don't know about such a new leggy but they definitely improve things on the older generations.
