  1. Not the same but here's a post of the day from Surrey Scoobies. http://www.surreyscoobies.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=48358&highlight=Prodrive
  2. I went in to advanced controller setting and reset them to default as wasn't sure if the pedal settings were still active. I haven't played the game for ages and it just seems that you can't brake into corners without under steering or locking up. For instance on other games you can be braking and turning in to the 1st corner at the bottom of the Start line hill on Laguna Seca all the way up to the apex, however with forza I'm finding I am braking much earlier to stay on line. This is also with a standard MS pad. Has anyone adjusted the advanced setting for the brakes? If what are your settings.
  3. I know what you mean about the variance in cameras, I live just off an A road and there are 2 cameras on the same stretch facing opposite ways. One didn't go off when a cop car went through at 55 yet the other side goes off at 45. We seem reasonably lucky in that there are only a few speed camera guts in our area and they don't seem to move them around that often. Prob just leave them in the most profitable cameras.
  4. Hmm gonna have to up my game and dump the pad in favor of the wheel and pedals. I find the brakes far too sharp on the pad they lock at the slightest pull of the trigger even with ABS on.
  5. Totally forgot about that. They have the same on real racing 3. Go off track and it's an instant fail, and with it being one lap only it's really annoying.
  6. Where did you do the time? I went free play and hot lap, didn't give any invalid times for going off track.
  7. 1:25.838 with controller and manual gears. Nightmare I kept going down instead of up gears :) oh and about 20 laps.
  8. So are we making the 1st top gear challenge a standard 22B? I'm gonna go dig the steering wheel out and put a time in. Have to say playing it with a controller rather than wheel is so much harder. The brakes on mine lock with just the lightest pressure, and the steering is so sensitive a small movement left or right turns the steering wheel nearly a qtr of a turn lol. What views does everyone use? For years I was a bonnet cam, have now switched to cockpit cam permanently just think it gives a better experience with the modern consoles.
  9. Better hope Chisum doesn't show up Gambit. Welcome to the club hopefully you won't find this forum as pretentious as the other one.
  10. Was just saying all that black ops pracitice of shooting down drones will come in handy especially as I need a new Xbox.
  11. so how does the police laser come into it. Surely this means if you've been stopped for speeding in a 50 by a Copper with a laser then you were deff doing an indicated 60+ and have no complaints.
  12. We picked up Tuhlee (Chew lee) our Tibetan Terrier today. She's only 8weeks old and so adorable. She's got a great character already and I dare say she'll be spoilt rotten.
  13. Just got back from collecting our new puppy. 2 hour drive up to Swindon to collect her. Car ran like a dream set the cruise control for 80 and just cruised along good as gold. Btw did you know that your speedo under reads by at least 5 mph? The speedo said 80 the TomTom said 74/75. Which is more accurate tom tom or the car? I've always gone by the TomTom myself. Haven't used it before with the Hatch as I had a pioneer sat nav system fitted and that doesn't display a speed. So I had the TomTom out just to see how much the speedo was out compared to the TomTom.
  14. I'd say 20 mins at most for races, I race RC cars and more than 20 mins gets a bit too much. I never did the endurance races in Forza or Grand Turismo for that reason, I'm a bit of a gold fish with a short attention span :D
  15. I thought you can download the ghost of friends lap times aswell.
  16. I would think so, it's not normally posted up until the week before. As soon as it is I post it on here.
  17. Can I suggest we allow braking lines? I haven't played the game for nearly a year so I will be pretty poor to star with. I'm gonna load it up and see what I have in the garage and get some practice in. Also how about we give a weeks notice on the track to allow people to have a practice esp if all driving lines are off. Also why not have a Top Gear power lap league? Combine the star in a car and the power lap tables. Each event we choose a car leave it standard and put a standing start fastest lap on the Top Gear Track. We had a comp at work when I took the xbox and wheel in to work and everyone did the Kia C'eed lap.
  18. If you want the car checked out give http://www.jollygreenmonster.co.uk/ a call. He maps a lot of the Surrey Scoobies and South East Scoobies members cars. Very good reputation and he offers a mobile service. Although meeting at http://www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk is a good idea.
  19. Welcome to the club and thanks for your service to your country. I for one appreciate every thing you the guys in all branches of the armed services do. Being a space cadet in my younger days, I spent a bit of time around the RAF and can honestly say it's was some of the best experiences of my life. Good choice in the Subaru, renowned for their reliability and a good mud tracker too. Enjoy the ownership
  20. I've got no idea tbh. I give up on this one.
