  2. Welcome, what scooby are you getting 22B?
  3. I've just ordered some Type UK Stickers from these guys maybe they can help. http://www.subarupartsstore.co.uk/category/Badges_and_Decals,b.html A lot of the Surrey Scoobies members use Pro_R as they are based locally, not heard anyone having issues with them before. Not that its any comfort to you but lets hope this is a onr off. Hope you get it sorted.
  4. Friday I was doing some bits on the car and had the radio on whilst messing with the leccy windows. After about 10 mins or faffing around I tried to start the car and the battery was flat. Jump started, then took the car for a 15 min drive, got home and all seemed well. Sunday drove the car for a quick trip to the shops, got back everything was fine. Got in the car this morning, started fine. on the way to waork, stopped at the paper shop and the car wouldnt start again. Is it because the Pioneer AVIC-F940BT Head unit takes so much juice to run it? Is it my battery that is giving up? Can I get a stronger battery than recomended by Subaru? Ta :)
  5. Welcome, which car are you aspiring too?
  6. Great news :)
  7. found this on the Outback forum. talks about a rubber cap you remove and line up the crank with a gap and use that to lock it. http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/61-general-discussions/47370-crank-shaft-pulley-tigtening-ideas.html
  8. Have a word with Pete at Southeast imprezas, he had quite a few cars for breaking recently he may have what you are looking for. https://www.facebook.com/search/results.php?q=SouthEast+Imprezas+SouthEast+Imprezas&init=public#!/southeastimprezas
  9. Hello :)
  10. On of my Local Scooby club members has recently become ambassador for UK Abarth and is racing this year around Europe in the Trofeo Benelux 500 series (Spa Francorchamps/Nurbugring/Colmar/Zandwoort/Zolder). He has to build a Driver Profile to help promote himself and more importantly UK Abarth. He was given this opportunity by the 'Make It Your Race' program in 2012 where he was the UK finalist. If any of you kind people would like to help support by clicking 'Like' 'Share' on his profile that would be Great. https://www.facebook.com/#!/JamesJBrazier
  11. Welcome to the Club. You can do a CEL check and this will give you a code number for the fault. A thread on scabbynet has details on reading and resetting the ECU. http://bbs.scoobynet...elp-please.html
  12. My advice for more power would be, make sure you can stop before you can go :)
  13. I had major greif getting a busted speedo out, I tried everything I could to remove it. After posting on another forum for advise, the advise was just smash the speedo cable retaing nut (orange plastic bit that screws into the gear box) to get it out. Due to the lack of room in the engine bay I could not get any angle on the orange plastic bit and ended up taking to a garage. They dropped the rear of the box down and managed to remove the cable for me. Cost me about £50.
  14. WOW! thats some crasy driving there!
  15. Lovely car welcome.
  16. Great looking car, not to sure about the box on the roof in the 2nd pic though :D
  17. Jay maybe this instead of the ute?
  18. I had a similar problem, it was down to when I replaced my Engine, I got the rocker breather pipe and the lower header tank pipe mixed up and eneded up filling the oil galleries with water. Luckily I didnt drive the car like this and spotted it before any major dmage was done. Spent about £100 on oil and engine flush and put 5 litres of oil in. Ran the car for a few mins drained out the oil and repeated 5 or 6 times. Scared the cr@p out of me. Hopefully yours will be an easy fix.
  19. OMG

I just blow them a big soppy kiss, did this the other day and they guy was going ape! making to get out his car, So I just shouted "no speaka eengliiishh I Polish" in a crappy accent. He fell for it regardless of LBC on the radio and the really bad accent
  20. Yeah your right it's an Allen key that covers the shaft, I was going from memory there and got mixed up with the inspection hole.
  21. On a classics:It's quite easy when you know how, from the front of the car, on the right hand side of the gear box is a rubber grommet, remove this and you will see a small hole, this is where the bar for the release bearing sits in the gearbox. Use an m6 bolt and screw it in to the thread in the bar. Pull this towards you and the bar will come out the gear box, now pull up the clutch fork and the release bearing will now be free. I have posted the workshop manual for the classic in this thread http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/41-whats-your-audio-set-up-in-your-suburu/ Can't see it being that much different with the Bugeye. You want page 227.
  22. Yep mine goes from S# to S when switched off.
