  1. de catin' shouldn't give a 'funny' noise, was it there before and it wasn't noticed?
  2. You don't buy a STi thinking it'll hold it price. RS Cosworth's are as much now as they were back in the 80s/90s. I often think would I have been better with a F-RS, but it didn't have 4wd or 4doors.. and at the end of teh day was too much like my wife's Ghia TDCi :(
  3. Edward and Tommy now have out grown it.. So I've put it on Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291241835815?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649
  4. still got a few sets left... got more coming too I've got them on Ebay... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-STi-Hatch-2008-on-rear-light-red-overlays-ONE-set-/291210952404?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3ASubaru&hash=item43cd867ed4 £30 delivered, if not on ebay contact me via ScoobyNet/SOC/SIDC etc to see if I've still got some. I have them shipped regularly so should have some ;)
  5. Peccy has some for sale at £250 the pair http://bbs.scoobynet.com/subaru-parts-451/1009255-front-seats-from-2010-sti.html#post11494515
  6. We took our own picnic and sat inside where the adrian flux stand was. Next to wheel whores. Wasn't getting stung on paying those food prices. Japfest. I won't rush to go next year
  7. Was that when I was headi g off to the indoor bit about 11ish. Food time
  8. Yep. Only the other side of mapperley planes. Came up to clipstone on sunday night to pick a kids bed up we'd bought off the preloved website. Also last week working on sherwood hall road. So not far away.
  9. https://www.flickr.com/photos/neoquip/sets/72157646597431892/ these are all the ones I took :(
  10. get the silver and then get powder coated
  11. The eibach prodrive springs have made mine so much better. Next on my list is better discs and pads.
  12. I beg to differ on Pete on the type UK thing. As far as I'm aware and asking friends they say the same, all the STi's sold via main UK dealers are Type UK, Its stems back to the first STi's being sold at dealers (STi 7's) they were called type uk, to set them apart from the imports. Now back to the 330s, std power listed is 325bhp with 347lb/t Mine with a ProR air filter got 319.4bhp with 359lb/t :) back in March at SC. 330s has as standard over a normal STI Factory fit rear Tints heated front windscreen element to heat the wiperblades! :wow: keyless entry push button start 18" Lustric Alloys (spelling??) Prodrive rear Stainless steel Back Box. Recaro seats SatNav/DVD head unit. also the prodrive power ugrade. and not forgetting the Kudos of being one of only about 200 cars registered as a 330s ;) Garage Racers-32a by salsa-king, on Flickr be watchful, as Euro Import STi's were the same spec as a 330s with the recaros/keyless etc so check the car you think is a 330s isn't an import! Also, some dealers called the STi with PPP a 320r (or 330r can't remember now) and had badges fitted to the rear. these aren't offical cars, also PPP is classed as a modification, so the insurance listings will show a STi and the 330s. anything inbetween in a modified car and will either put some insurers off insuring or just put a higher price on your insurance premium. Ring round! BTW, even on the 330s, Front Fog lights, STi front lip spoiler and the rear alloy exhaust trims didn't come as standard fitment, they were optional extras.
  13. I've had another delivery so have a few more sets to sell, they're on ebay as well, PM for more info Garage Racers-32a by salsa-king, on Flickr
  14. I must say I looked at these this week, great price. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMPREZA-WRX-STI-5X114-PCD-356mm-2005-8-POT-D2-FRONT-BIG-BRAKE-DISC-KIT-/231135539322?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3ASubaru&hash=item35d0c0707a then you sell your two pots and get a bit of money back towards your new ones. I have a feeling you have 100pcd and not the STi 114pcd though. so you might be better looking for 100pcd. or ask ScoobyClinic, http://shop.scoobyclinic.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=67_203&product_id=521 My original scoob had two pots... waste of time they were. I ended up buying a set of 4pots that had comes off a P1 (as the owner had upgraeded to alcons) the 4pots were so much better.. and then had EBC discs front and back... Red stuff on the front, Green stuff on the back. so much better. If you just upgrade discs, you'll wish you'd saved and spent extra on the Pot upgrade. So I'd say don't mess about. wait til you can upgrade properly, or you're wasting money and not be happy.
  15. Not that I know of . As you need to make sure they're secure. Only three holes into the plastic trim so you then push the fastening clip into. Very easy to do.
  16. my original fitting guide is here, where i had to drill a few small holes.... dead easy though http://bbs.scoobynet.com/styling-36/967500-mudflaps-2008-hatch-diy-fitting-guide.html pictures not showing.. look direct here. you'll work it out http://s37.photobucket.com/user/salsachatta/library/330s%20STi%20Scooby/STi%20mudflaps%20fitting?sort=3&page=1
