  1. void the warranty then? SC have tuned their MY15 STi http://www.scoobyclinic.com/performancetuning.htm I think I read somewhere most tuners were 'only' seeing 375bhp ish without going silly silly money being spent.
  2. spend £7k.... http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/subaru/forester/subaru-forester-sti-1-owner-only-22k/5015735
  3. hi what do you want to spend? they's a lot of £2-3k and under sheds out there these days
  4. Omg Got mine to pay before end of the month. £369 And I thought that was a lot.
  5. hello and welcome. don't do anything to your car without having it mapped properly by someone who knows what they are doing.
  6. tnx, a lot of junk there though to look at. rusty wheels etc
  7. Been over to Newark today to see the classic bike show (also a bit of an auto jumble) Good to test out my new camera ;) all pix are here... https://www.flickr.com/photos/neoquip/albums/72157661026769303 a few are below.. comments welcome.. (not wanting to be ripped apart though) I tried shots with the Flash Gun (mainly in Av mode, increase on ISO and tried between f2.8 - 5.) and without flash. I'm happy with the vivid editing using LR6 though. tnx for looking
  8. go to exhaustsuk.co.uk and get one made for your car how you want it
  9. you need 100pcd loads on ebay will fit. a guy on www.M-soc.com has a set in green FS, with winter tyres...
  10. there's a YOUTUBE fitting guide for the Perrin spoiler lifter. looks good
  11. looking forward to the house warming though John, bought time you investing bricks and mortar.. and marriage lol
  12. a few differneces with the WRX compared to a STi. Spolier off the STi will fit your car, The STi front grille does also. All 'cheapish' upgrades that make a load of differnce. all of them are 2008 (MY08) even a 2010 will still be known as MY08 as they were all made at the same time and sold in low numbers. the STi in 2011 (MY11) had upgrade on teh bumper. alloys changed and interior was overhauled with the better Recaro seats (found on the 330s and the euro import cars) Don't forget if you look for alloys.. you are 100pcd (not 114.3) so you have loads to pick from at great prices.
  13. the red pin stripe? halfords do 3mm red stripe.. about £5 for 10m I used that on mine
  14. they're too good to be giving them away. and outta my price range :(
  15. in effect mines being done ever 3k lol
  16. I'm think I'm now following what's going on. between services 20k miles have been covered (in a twelve month period) so in effect a serviced had been missed as it should have been done at 12k miles. as said earlier.. if you cover 12k miles in 8month of the year.. you service it then. You wouldn't wait till 12 months when you could have 16k+ miles. Like me who only does 3k a year. I service each year. I'm not waiting 4yrs for a service as I'll have racked up 12k miles by them.
  17. I'm lost. so you're saying you have a 20k mile difference between services? I thought it's 12month or 10k miles.. which ever comes first? Like I'm only on 32k miles but my next service at the end of the month will be stamped as the 7th yr in my service book. (70k miles or 84 months) and to be fair I use main dealer in sheffield and have never paid over the odds on service price.. plus i get a nice SUBARU stamp in my book ;)
  18. keep us posted how you go on. fingers crossed for you Halfords haven't skimped on what they've used on your car. BTW.. which service was it in for?
  19. Note: never ever ever push your bonnet down!!! how long you been driving!! lol
  20. a dend master will be able to get it back out. I'll wait though as as soon as i get it done.. some plank will put another in the doors at a car park no doubt :( just frustrating as i did it lifting the massive RECARO car seat in the back. and up to then the car had no knocks on body work
  21. winter alloys went on today.. Then to top my day off, i put a small bulge in the rear arch as I put the blinkin kids car seat back in :(
  22. japanparts.com is a good site to use, just bare in mind Postage, vat and import duty. .... delivery times too you can save a few pounds though and least you now its proper stuff.
