  1. Possibly cam cover gaskets weeping ? Usually the o/s one as it's close to the downpipe and gets hot and perishes, have a look between the airbox and side of engine, directly down you'll see some oily residue on the up pipe if it is weeping
  2. Fair do's the pagid discs and pads are good, available form quite a few places, or there's mintex or black diamond not used the mintex but using a set of bd pads at the mo really good cheap upgrade
  3. Depends what your after www.importcarparts.co.uk for oem stuff. Www.scoobyparts.com or one of the many other scooby sites for aftermarket or you could just try your local motor factors or euro car parts etc
  4. Cool that's what I though some people have had trouble fitting them to the foz (mainly Americans ) ☺ when I looked before it just said 92-07 so I guessed it would be ok
  5. Not gonna have the funds till after the 4th so if you still have them then I'll take them off your hands. Obviously if someone else wants them before me the all good, Do they come with the metal bits ? Do you have a pn at all Just trying to work out if they'll fit the foz ok as I've read conflicting reports
  6. My guess is that the bolts have been out before and someone 's roughly marked the location of where they were to be able to put it back in the same position
  7. Yes should tell you which one is duff, it's most probably the upstream one as that's the one that's gets the hottest, don't hold me to it though
  8. Tempting, I'll see how finances are and get back to you, in a short while, seem to be hemmoraging money I don't have at the mo, only need the engine mounts as have the pitch stop,
  9. Hi & welcome, is the car standard ? Also depends on what type of boost solinoid you have if it's a two port on the restrictor pill should be in the small line between the actuator and tee piece If a three port it is in the lower hose from the solinoid It controls the boost people open them up a little or fit bigger pill to gain a bit more boost but it's not the best idea
  10. If it's gone out again i'd say either lambda or less likely maf. If you find a local independent subaru place they will have the ssm1 kit to check properly, if you really want to have a basic look you can get a cable & software from www.evoscan.com
  11. I've stuck a pair of black diamond preadator pads on the front with standard discs (still had loads of meat on) much better than oem loads of bite and little fade. I would have put their discs on too but didn't see the point of wasting money un necessarily
  12. Www.importcarparts.co.uk are usually good for bearing kits, i'd steer clear of 20 quid ebay jobbies unless they are brand named ones, a decent oem spec bearing is about 40 quid each, the rears can be a pain to get the hub to lateral link bolt out they usually seize so I'd attack it for a couple of days before hand with penatrating oil, if you are planning on doing them yourself you'll need press to get them in and out again it's a pain as the abs rings are fragile. I paid my local garage a ton inc parts for the job, i'm glad I did as he had some right issues getting it seated correctly
  13. Would have made for a nicer alternative to visiting blackpool [emoji51] keep deleting all my dash cam footage, should really clip it all and make it into montages
  14. Not sure this was a few years ago so I may have been usurped by a sport ka or such like it started to protest at an indicated 100 by violently shaking alot, it would have been better on the down hill stretch in the opposite direction, it's steeper ☺
  15. My ex misses had two the 07 was more 'refined' 2 weeks after she picked it up I had the pleasure of dropping her at Blackpool airport & returning to leeds, needless to say it was rubbish up hill but those of you that know the m62 will know that either side o Saddleworth moor there's quite a long down hill section, [emoji51] managed a new ka land speed attempt on the way home. I put down not attaining vmax speed due to it not being run in properly yet
  16. Does that take into account tail wind down hill & with the mirrors folded in for better aero ?
  17. Someone needs to bite the bullet and install these http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/air-jacks-accessories/a-p-racing-fast-air-jack
  18. Engine mounts or engine & box ? Used or not ?
  19. Hello & welcome feel free to get stuck in and have a look around
  20. I wouldn't bother with a cheap one or 2nd hand as they are usually rubbish and you end up buying twice, best place to get a genuine subaru one is www.importcarparts.co.uk not cheap but guaranteed to do the job, have you had a look at getting a cheap diagnostic scanner from eBay and an app for your phone ? Will enable you to read and clear codes yourself and save some pennies but not having a garage look at it
  21. Or fill from top hose, until you can't get any more in, then fill from header tank burp/refil/repeat .
  22. Used to be same for me Dan, right pain in the !Removed! but works, Now I have the opposite problem, my jack won't lift high enough at the front to let me use stands. Looks like a new high lift trolley jack is in order
