Have you removed the battery and washer bottle from one side and the air box from the other ? Little trick is to lessen off one side of the engine mounts and put a Jack underneath then raise it slightly till the block tilts and you get a bit better access, change plug remove Jack tighten mount and repeat on the other side Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Need to do both heads for start and the big end bearings will have probably suffered. So no point spending 1.5k on a head strip down & rebuild for the engine to have to be pulled in a few months to do the bottom end and replace all the bits you've already replaced Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

You can send your ecu off on an exchange basis for 300quid from esl, I've just sold my ecu with an esl board in it for 200 so worth checking the bay, I'm assuming yours will have a td04 ?
