You can send your ecu off on an exchange basis for 300quid from esl, I've just sold my ecu with an esl board in it for 200 so worth checking the bay, I'm assuming yours will have a td04 ? The hiss is usual, wouldn't worry about it it's either a weak pump or the maf or 02 sensors are a bit duff and trimming the air fuel mix or could be something pulling the timing, have you done the ecu self diagnostic ? May have flashed up a cel without noticing Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
