  1. Don't worry he's harmless in the flesh just show him some leg keeps him quiet
  2. Taking pictures of your chopper outside an airport may get you arrested [emoji33]
  3. It's like Blackpool airport, didn't know it had an airport till I took the ex there. ! Check it out while your on Google, one hallway maybe 250 meters with arrivals at one end and departures at other [emoji51]
  4. I wouldn't call Robin Hood an airport maybe just a strip of tarmac long enough to land [emoji39]
  5. I think that's my problem clive, I look yesterday evening an I noticed that one side was a little squashed and outside the perimiter, I'm going to take the whole Lot out tomorrow night, have a look and see if I've damaged the rubber and put it back together. I've ordered a new rubber for subaru in the states, believe it or not it was cheaper and quicker than subaru uk. Subaru also rang me with regards to a filler neck. His opening words were 'are you sitting down' Knew from that point on it was gonna be expensive, 206+vat to be precise [emoji22] so I'm gonna treat my existing one and hope it's just the sender gasket. Gambit, no rush I'm just curious to see if it would work
  6. The key or the dongle thing ? If dongle no idea. But my import has the same key but does absolutely nothing. I'm led to believe there's no immobiliser in the key so you could just get a blank and get one cut. My alarm is all done off the aftermarket fob
  7. Loads coming down here now, been snowing on and off all day so hopefully be fun tonight
  8. Your lucky normally they don't want to know about grey imports, What does your alarm key fob look like ? Can you post a pic up maybe somone will be able to recognise it
  9. Removed the cover although the pipe is rusty I think it's ok as when you start the car the smell comes from this area So I'm back to square one I can't see what's up there. I think it may be the tank lid nod sealing properly ?
  10. Could I be cheeky and ask you to measure it roughly for me mate ? I've got to take the plastic gaurd off and see what the crack (no pun intended) is 1st subaru uk are getting back to me with a price and availability. I'm half tempted to get an impreza one and chop it out extend and weld back together. Can anyone see any problems in this ?
  11. Help these appear to be like rocking horse !Removed!. Ipc reckon the impreza ones of the same year won't fit. Anyone had experience for trying ? Or know where I can get a replacement for my foz that isn't main dealer ?
  12. Trying to find a fuel filler neck for a forester [emoji35] they appear to be a little longer than the impreza according to ipc but someone one forester.org says they are the same grrrr !
  13. Get your drill out ! The ones I've seen have been attached through the boot floor
  14. Had all fuel lines off again to see if there's any blockages or splits, couldn't see anything checked charcoal canister all seems to be plumbed in, I'm at a loss, put it in diagnostic mode and the petrol smell came back, coming from under rear arch, Phoned subaru they wanted 50 quid for a new fuel cap ! So do I get a replacment cap or replacment tank gasket to start off with ?
  15. I cam never find a pair of gloves that give me enough feel
  16. Looks alright that !
  17. Got any pics of copper/carbon combo from the Web at all ?
  18. I'm at the point of pulling my hair out if I had any, Basically if anyone is on good terms with an alarm installer that does clifford/viper alarms could you ask them if the have access to a dei bitwriter This is the essential bit ! I need a bitwriter operator to unlock the alarm module for me so I cam programme new key as it was locked by the original installer. I've called just about everyone in the yorks/manchester/notts area with no luck. I can either travel to London at the place where the alarm was fitted and give them 75 notes for the pleasure of doing it for me. I'd rather not travel that far and pay somone closer. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  19. Hundred quid for mine only cut the carpet out as the foz armchairs were fine but when I put the impreza seats in it was a bit close. It's a nice little sub rounds the system off nicely and gives out good sound for what it is
  20. here's mine now I've finally got it stuck to the floor.
