  1. Yeah they aren't cheap [emoji35] Apparently the foz has an extra bar in the front, weather this be true I've no idea nit really looked into it
  2. Have a look over on forester.org theres a company that makes foz specific kits and you don't have to chop away at the front end as much
  3. depends what wishbones you have, Should do have a look under the rear pf the car for the bracket mounting points and on the top of the wishbone arms for the same
  4. Good news mate, as in it won't sync with the car ? Did you load up the vag software 1st to select the right com ports ? It took me a bit but I managed to get it to the stage where it would get as far as the light on the cable comibg on and then it would tell me the ecu wasn't compatible. I think shifty bought the cable and downloaded the software, may be worth asking him
  5. I think somone said they aren't fitted to the sport, were looking for bars and mounting kits,
  6. Haters ! Almost looks same colour as mine just a little darker on top
  7. Or bad contact on switch could be simple fix could be expensive ! Haggle away see what happens,
  8. No worries mate, your knowledge as always is invaluable [emoji51] helped me out no end, I've just emailed subaru forester parts, they are just out of stock at the mo so I'll order when back in. One last question which I think I know what you'll say, did you fit yor turbo blanket when it was all in bits or on the car ?
  9. May be worth putting a wanted post up in parts section, never know what people have lying around, Theres a chance ill be in posession of a foz thas been sat under a tree for the past few years, looks like we're gonna break it, if it comes together over the weekend, I'll pm you if I get the word it's coming I've not seen it yet but it's come from somone's estate who's passed so far we've rescued a glanza, 300zx and a honda fireblade
  10. I can't see why they aren't 95% of all the bits i've had to replace or add have been identical, it was the trubo end of things i was unsure of, Theres a wrx kit that has y pipe, throttle body and another pipe but no 90 degree turbo to ic :-( thanks for the offer, Don't suppoee I could be cheeky and ask you to measure the external diameter of the tlred hose in 1st pic ? Then if all else fails I can just buy a piece of samco hose same size and cut it to length. I had an sti cooler off a foz available with piping for 40quid and i passed on it boo !
  11. Ah that makes sense, just looking for the sf y pipe kit and it's disappeared off the website overnight
  12. Cheers mate, its the red hose im after ideally as I have a forester specific y pipe kit on the Christmas/birthday list and I think it doesn't have that bit on . It was that long ago that I took the intercooler off I can't remember what's underneath looms like plastic/metal combo.
  13. I was thinking fatter one at top turbo to I/c then the one underneath from I/c to recirc valve? Not sure about the one top right. It's for a v3 sti so dont know if the turbo to intercooler inlet is the same diameter hose
  14. Shouldn't the ecu !Removed! the timing if it's suffering from detonation?
  15. Happy days, how you finding the cold weather on start up ?
  16. People help me ID the hoses in this kit please http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/popup_image.php?pID=classicturbokit.jpg I'm after some new hoses and have already found the correct I/c y pipe kit to suit the foz, so I'm looking at getting this one also, don't want to end up with duplicate hoses Thanks
  17. Not sure but i think the AA do it, weather you have to be a member or pre book is something else I have no idea about
  18. Hello welcome ! Our xv ranks are slowly growing so feel free to get stuck in and have a browse we don't bite that much [emoji51]
  19. Just leave the gate open either way they'll go for a swim or take off down the road,
  20. Not sure about the seat but mine only fold the rest is bolted down
  21. Are the top and bottom rad hoses getting hot ? If they aren't i'd say the thermostat is prob dead, could always remove it and pop it in some hot water to test, Our engines are a pig to bleed, it took me about 20mins of 'burping' the top hose untill all the air had been expelled and i got constant heat across the hoses
  22. Where did they come from in the 1st place ? Sounds like a comedy sketch in there somewhere
  23. Either that or we go chase the horses off gambits land and invade for a summer meet/bbq [emoji16]
  24.
