Hey dudes, got a bit to much movement in the gear stick so I'm going to change the bushes, and I thought I'd put a short shifter in while I was there as the satandard one is about a meter long!. I've found a couple,COBB, KARTBOY, and TWM so far . Anyone got any preferences that works well ?

An XR2I has been floating around here with 13's on it in that bright red with the Electric blue pin stripe, I liked them and they were nippy not like the Sr nova we had with the traditional DTM and bucket seats ( we must of looked like twats driving that around ) my bird at the time had a sun strip with ****** in heat written on it! What were we thinking

Ok, so I know we've all got subaru blood. But I was driving to work the other day and I saw a fiat UNO turbo in really good standard condition, plus a bird was driving it which is pretty cool in my books. I was just wondering what other cars you lot see about that remind you of your younger days

I guess, I used to have a mini fire blade ( honda cbr400 gull arm) it only done 135mph which I used to sit at all the way down the A249 which got a bit boring after a while know that I couldn't go any faster.obviously I've slowed done in my oldness of age and only do the speed limit so your right don't have to worry ;)

Hello, I was just reading about a scooby someone had done up and at the bottom of the page there was a note saying cars fitted with a top mount intercooler should not run at 140mph or over for prolonged periods of time as damage will occur.can anyone explain a little more? Is it due to not getting enough cold air

Evening you sexy people, Just a quick one.when I bought my legacy the dude before me bought some standard rear shocks to put on it as he lives in a pot holey area,which I think would look silly on a GTB but I anyway.im going to stick them on eBay in the next week or so, but if there's anyone one on here that wants them they can have them for free. They didn't cost me anything so it's cool, either way their taking up my boot space and have to go C

I got a lady to wave back but I'm not sure she knew why she was doing it.on another note, I was plodding round a round about when a new critroen ( not sure what it was, not seen one before) flew past me at a rate of knots on the slip road, so I started to nail in hard while safely merging onto the carrage way,I was all over him but with a with the busy traffic I couldn't get into the second stage of the turbo and he pulled off at the next junction. So technically I was done ! :(

We should make it our mission to get others involved in Subaru love. Gambit, I found the source of the oil leak on the legacy, someone had'nt put the ports back on the inter cooler properly and I found one of the gaskets half hanging out. Apparently a garage used to do all the work, which a bit of a worry !!!!! I'm trying to build a staircase so I'll speak to you !Removed! later C

Well I'm not in the oap section yet,but from now on I'll be saying hello to all the Subaru's about.i have been noticing the boy racers trying to work out what I'm driving and why they can't keep up with me, I think I'm in love with my car.....

Had my legacy nearly a week now, and I was driving it earlier and another subaru passed me one the other side of the road.we looked at at each other as if we we're going to say hello/ maybe a little hand wave? But neither of us did.so do subaru drivers have a code?

I took various pictures including the fibreglass moulds I made for the tank.i'll get them together and drop you a message when I upload the file.may be a week or two as I'm busy at the moment.also if you like the way I've done mine I'll help you with yours, it's no bother

That's cool, mines the 92 with the fox eye head light, I've used the 2000 r6 seat unit as it looks right and not like someone's waked it on. Just had all the alloy welding done on it and I've been doing body work to the tank to make it fit to the seat, a lot of people fall down here and the conversion ends up looking rubbish. The carbs do my head in for removal and re fitting I overhauled mine as there was half a beach in the float chamber for sitting idle,well worth it but a pain to fit.

I know this is the wrong discussion area but I've got some sort of small oil spray coming from somewhere under the inter cooler, any ideas? I'm gonna whip it off tomorrow and have a look C Ps good to mean you all,sounds like your all wired up bit wrong like me so should be a laugh on here

You are correct jay, sounds like we have the same model exup. Mines the RU. My dad had the street fighter look on it when it was his which I'm not keen on so it's been in the garage as a project getting it back to how it should be with the addition of an R6 tail unit. I'll upload some albums car and bike stuff when I get five

Just to back up what Adams says, the legacy is an awsome car and shouldn't be underestimated .just coz it's got a boot big enough for a couple of dead bodies
