  1. Evening all.i agree with ash,car looks ok. But for what he's asking it needs to be spanking inside and out with not a single stone chip in site, with a folder full of paper work including a dyno reading.also, like jay says finding that ecu is no great feat.

Walk of shame......that takes me back. I can actually remember my last one. I was used like a piece of meat:)))))))
  3. Your lucky mate, I've got two in mine and I never use them. I would just like to say that, I'm a member here and on another legacy site. And although its amazing for specific twin turbo issues, its much friendlier on here.( I should never of left) or the members on here are a bit weird like me
  4. I recon the years of it facing into the wind when driving its just slowly moved over time.
  5. Evening evening, So I've got a leaky sunroof.ive disconnected the buttons for it as the water keeps filling up the pcb. Looking from the outside, you can see the seal at the front has lifted even with the roof fully shut.does anyone know who to fix this
  6. That would be nice mate, drop me a pm if you can get one.
  7. The legacy site I'm on do their own, I missed it this year as there was a cut off date to order.it wouldn't be hard todo one I don't recon
  8. Oi oi ******'s Alright I take back the last comment "sort of" what can I say I'm in a playful mood. Anyway, I need a calendar for this year ASAP,ideally a legacy one but as we're a rare breed on fuel guzzling monsters, I've not found any. But to be honest any subaru one would be fine. Anyone know where I can get one. Cheers in advance C
  9. Mine went through its mot fine,I'm de- catting but I'm making my own sleeve as legacy parts like that that don't always come up. Not sure about normal scoobys but mines got 2 cats, one on the primary as well which is best left due to the possiblity of over spooling up the secondary pipe so I've heard
  10. Get some audio up later mate, ideally one when its cold and one when its upto temperature if that's ok. I've got a kitchen to fit, speak later dudes
  11. Matts right, mine sounds like a bag of spanners when it's cold with its piston slap. I think if it was something terminal like bottom end,it would be a constant noise, that would give you that sinking feeling that its about to die and empty your bank account
  12. Break what? For lunch ha. Yeah,is the noise constant weather it's under load or not.if you could upload an audio it may help
  13. Definatly knocking and not tapping? Is it high or low pitch?

Never do the scratch card thing sorry, AC/DC...hmmmm "big balls"
  15. Not that much mate,if it is suitable and you are interested I'm sure we can work something out price wise.ive goto get under the car anyway ( to get away from the mrs) so I'll take a couple of pictures of it.its clean, when I give the car a good wash I always do the whole back box with autosol It's identical to this http://www.haywardandscott.com/subaru/subaru-legacy-twin-turbo-backbox.html C
  16. Yeah, defo clean the MAF. Even though it may look clean, it's probably not.its worth doing regardless and will only cost you the price of a can of "isopropyl alcohol".how old is the air filter? Also what rpm does it tick over at at normal running temprature

Don't worry we've all done things like this.i once pulled up at the shop Facing my mate in his car, Reving my van flat out as if to drive into him.i put it in reverse and wrote off a cavalier which had parked right behind me second before.good luck with your repair, she looks nice and together for an older bird.
  18. I'm more Into using stinging nettles at the end, let's call it the "poor mans tingle"
  19. Good luck on your search mate,my old one from my legacy will be up for sale next month if you've not sorted one out by then.you would have to modify it slightly, its a 3 1/2 inch exit stainless,I'm pretty sure it's a haywood and Scott but can't say 100% as it was on the car when I got it, I'll have a look through its history when I get five. I'm off to play with myself with some 80 grit sand paper Laters dudes
  20. Picture from end of last summer just before I washed it
  21. And your pay most of that ish for a second hand one in good nic.im just changing mine over but I don't think the legacy back box will fit yours? Anyone here know out of interest of interchangeability ?
  22. Ps I only have intercourse with myself (always in front of the mirror )
  23. Just used my brain,no not seen it anywhere else.( someone would of done it) you could have a uk map with coloured drop pin in it and when you hover over it would flash up the members user name. Not sure where you put it on the site though?
  24. Alright slags, has anyone mentioned an idea, like what companies use i'e a store locator.execpt we'd use it as a member locator.not exact address and bra size, just like area like I'd be sexual transmitter location Aldershot. I know we have it on our profile, but it would be a good visual for members to see where we all are on like a uk map
  25. Yeah ditto all of that, except the I like to be top feet round my ears. I had some kid with his girlfriend in a civic with a dustbin end can try and over take me up a hill today followed closely by a new golf gti, they were having a little tussle up the hill and all of a sundden the estate car ie me started to accelerate away.he tried to pass me but it wasn't going to work, I had to do it smoothly as the mrs was in the car which was a shame so it only looked like I was fending them off, of which I noticed the civic driver looking pleased that he'd keep up with a subaru and gave his girlfriend a big kiss like out of mad max( the first one with the night rider) !!! The wife thought I was going fast, I assured her I wasn't( like she cares how fast my car is!)
