  1. Hey, In first case i'm sorry about my English , it isn't the best. So there are a 2003 Blobeye WRX. New in the family. I have problem with the ABS light. Im just put the car to ignition and the Check Engine + ABS lamps are lighting. If i start the engine --> shift to the 1 gear --> the car starts to move --> the lights are goes OFF from the dash. BUT sometimes they are not leave me alone and stay, just lighting until i drive. If i do Ign Off - On after it, the lights goes OFF again. When driving there are no problem with abs or anything its error-free. When i bought it, the previous owner said that he were at subaru service center and the diagnostic is not showed any problem. Mods on the car, the speedometer cluster changed to STI one (mph) , the originally wrx was km/h. There are a full HKS exhaust system under the car from the start to the end, with afterburner system. Middle console was changed for STI too. Oil and boost meter installed too in the car. I was read some stories about the wrong subaru ABS, pedal falls, system failures, car crashes etc... Im a little bit afraid is an evolving problem in my car. This is the cause why i wrote here, maybe someone met with this problem and can help me in the repair (or can calm me down). Thanks :)
  2. Hi everyone, just joined the forum, and i am after some advice. ABS light is on all the time i have removed all the wheel sensors cleaned them all and all connectors, also changed front discs and pads because they were low. can i reset abs light myself? 2001 bugeye impreza wrx. Thanks
  3. Hi all. I suspect that this may be a faulty sensor. I have had the old foz for just over a month and on about 6 occasions I've fired her up and the ABS and Brake warning lights have stayed on for the duration of the drive. the next time I've started her up the lights have not stayed on. This has been the same each time; I have not had the warning lights come on consecutive times. If the sensor needs replacing how big a deal is this. I have replaced the rear pads and discs and the brakes work great. Cheers
  4. Hi all. I have had the fozzy for just over month and after starting her up on about 6 or 7 occasions the ABS and brake lights have stayed on for the duration of the drive. The next time I've started the car the lights haven't come on. This has been the case on each time; the lights haven't come on consecutive drives. Is it a dodgy sensor and if so how big deal is it to sort. Any advice much appreciated. Cheers.
  5. My 2007 R spec b 3.0L Legacy sometimes won't start. The engine warning light and ABS light come on and the cruise control light flashes. The only way to start the car seems to be to rock it from side to side and switch the ignition on and off several times. After sometimes 5 minutes, but more often than not 30, I can get the car to go. The car sticks in sport mode and the cruise control won't work under these conditions. This happens sporadically and my Subaru dealer is at a loss to know what is causing it. Sometimes, months will go by with no problem then it'll happen several times in a row. The problem is unaffected by weather or external temperature but does seem more likely to happen if the car has been driven fast. Any ideas ?
  6. Hi got trouble code 56 which is g sensor open or grounded circuit, do i replace the g sensor or check wiring? Thanks 2001 bugeye wrx
  7. Hi, I have a 2002 wrx and recently put brembo breaks onto the rear of my car and replaced the rear discs for bigger ones. They fitted fine no problem, bled the brakes but went on a test run and noticed my abs light is on!!!! Also my hand brake is none existent I was wondering if I would need sti hub and or hand brake shoes and hand brake parts (don't know if they are bigger)??? Thanks for any help or advice
  8. Hi all! 1st question from a newbie... I'm looking to replace my existing OEM trailing arms and transverse members (to upgrade and due to the excessive corrosion- see image) on 2002 sti prodrive with some Hardrace.co.uk parts. Could anyone tell me how the ABS lines would be attached as the OEM's have a routing system unlike the Hardrace versions? I'm guessing cable ties wouldn't cut it. Also any feedback on Hardrace parts would be appreciated before I buy. Thanks
