Does everyone realise if you switch your handbrake and clutch buttons so the clutch is on the A button its no more difficult than manual on its own? Just press a and b for shift up or a and x for shift down.

  • I think me and Hilli ended up trading hundredths and it got too stessful, I reckon there's another second or so in the lap. Which now that I'm not top I might try and demonstrate tonight

I see you've found an excuse to get out of Forza. [emoji1] [emoji14] Dragon age is a brilliant game abs you will get lost amongst the hours of gameplay.

Thats what I did it is a little more difficult but not much of a learning curve. And shocked as the car feels easier to drive but seems to show up more the driver error.

Right, tonight I'm learning clutch and setting a new lap time

I'd say it is a matter of learning all the tracks I found I was relearning braking points and my gearing down sometimes I would be 2 to 5 seconds slower than my previous best. 6 laps on TG test track I'd beat my time but wanted to try get closer to the 1:22's and I was was sick of updating the board last night lol.

I just didn't see the times for whatever reason, mind you tapatalk is getting to the point I want to throw my phone and shout profanities at it....

I won't even try I honestly can't see where I can make that time up in a standard car. I think I can get a few hundredths of a second off maybe break the 1:22 but that will be it :)

I haven't got the hang of gears, I can't get my throttle and clutch/gear timing right, any tips. Don't want you too far ahead [emoji41]

What's the best way, do you throttle off before change it not, what about down shift

Change the clutch to A that will help hit both clutch and gear at same time. Drop the throttle and hot the A plus gear at same time then slam throttle on. You can flat foot shift up but it unsettled the car. Do your gear change before the corner and finish braking before you turn in. Get the car nice and stable. Any squeel or loss of grip and you won't get the corner right. All helps to shave that little extra.

You sure there's no upgrades? I've been trying and trying, getting really smooth laps that get me very low 1.23 but no chance of lower. As a test I put the diff on and roll bars which made no difference to pi and I was getting mid 1.22 with a good lap (kept it dirty so it wouldn't count). Just saying, I can see low 23 being possible I just cant get my head round sub 22 lol. You need to train us if its all legit! .

Ps, upgrades have been taken off mine again.
