Miggs Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 very well done indeed pal, looks really good, are you lacquering it or keeping it matte or polishing it shiney?

Jay762 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 loving the heat me - just like in Florida couple of years ago :P
ugly1 Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 tinted back windows today and also sprayed back wheel hubs and inner arch's 1
Gambit Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I like windows tinted think it makes cars look so much better. Nice job
Miggs Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I'vealways said iI'd tint my rear windows on all my cars but I've never done it as every car I've seen other than a subie just doesn't look right, I think subie with the rears tinted look like an sti import, and black on white is just sexy, I wanna paint mine white now
ugly1 Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 just been to pick these up nissan skyline gts seats £30 1
ugly1 Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 ok maybe a daft question to some, but i have never had a scooby before these seats i just bought can i remove the seat rails from my scooby and put them on the new seats , so they will fit as i know just by looking at them they wont fit deffo
Miggs Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Not sure you can remove the subframes off the subie seats and have no idea what soever bout the others sorry, you might have to fabricate something, see if there's part of the subie frame you can cut of and same with the others and swap em over via a welder
Gambit Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Not sure myself I've only ever swapped Subaru seats for Subaru seats :( (like for like)
ugly1 Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 well i just been having a mess around with the skyline seats and the rails are built on, cant remove em so it looks like either a welder and make some thing to add on to fit em or sell em on and forget that idea cheers anyway guys
Exup1000 Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 If it comes out looking like what's in the picture with the decals it'll look awsome. I like that mean scooby look. Are you prepping the body to keep the cost down ?
Miggs Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 If you do knock the Nissan seats on the head and want to get some impreza seats, the classics have firmer seat bolsters than later types but later seats have better patterns, you could get sti seats and dye the red bits white
ugly1 Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 Exup1000 i doing everything prep work and spray job a mate just messaged me on facebook saying he has a Subaru wrx full interior for sale gonna have a look tomorrow 2
