Jay762
I dont know about this product but I do know BG do a product that was designed to help with engines running a higher compression ratio - it effectively lines the cylinders taking out any tolerance between the rings and the bore stopping blow by - I dont think it was an oil additive though you put it into each of the cylinders <_<

stants
Cheers bit man for the link I've heard a lot about the upper engine cleaner on us sites but wasn't really sure what or where to get it part numbers. Might try and get hold of some,
Mr B
Well if that resolves piston slap post me the empty can & I will eat it. For sure additives can help in some engine matters but chances on proper piston slap is a no really .
stants
I'm resigned to the fact that mine will never go away, my solution is don't drive anywhere until it's warm enough not to be embarrassed by the mettalic coconut sound haha
Dino
Try Forte Oil Fortifier. This fixes up any engine problem compression problem. It contains no PTFE either so is much better at tightening up an engine. Costs about £10-14. I've used it on older cars over 60K miles and it really improves mpg, emissions, etc.
