my STi Flexi strut brace arrived while I was away on holiday :) it's the same as the one on the 25th Anniversary Model Hatch STi

Looks smart almost space age compared to mine :D 


My guess is that it locks in when the black bit is pushed towards the bulkhead ?

my 25th anniversary edition Hatch strut brace now fitted (about £25 more money than the normal Red STi version).

 

from japanparts.. took about 3weeks to arrive :)

phill, you do realise a strut brace is supose to be a solid bar to prevent flex between the top mounts? a flexi version kinda defeats the object lol

Well I'd say looks great and if it has a bit of resistance it would make a small change. but does depend on how flexy it is :)

Idea of it is it allows vertical, but not lateral movement. Seems to be an improvements over none (according to peter solberg and chris atkinson), but not sure how it compares to a proper brace due to them doing a test with and without, not against a solid one
